Well, Taiga dramas are always based on history and they always tell the life of a real character. While saeguks tend to add many events and characters that didn't exist at all.
Btw, I started watching Yasha!

Why on earth should I get on your good side Dreamy? You're the one who's supposed to do that you know!
OMG look who's talking! Are you for real? I can't believe you actually said that I am a slow watched while you're the one who completes a drama every two weeks :p

No, that whole working hard and it ain't over until it's over is a try from the writer to make things less obvious than they already are. I mean come on, how can she love him in 8 episodes? He's clearly a second male lead.
I had a crsush on him in my early teen years when they used to broadcast Korean dramas on our TV. It was in "Sweet 18", he was young and gorgeous!
I will be waiting for your opinion about Ikiru then. I downloaded it but I still didn't get the chance to see it yet since I only watch one classic per week.
I know how you feel? I felt very irritated to see people fighting over fictional characters but then I decided to ignore them and never read their comments again, now I feel way better. Maybe you should do the same. Well, now it's more peaceful in soompi.

I will as long as I get to watch it but that can take a long time, just don't hang your hopes on me Dior.
Don't worry, and should I get you more excited? It does get better after each episode to the point that I am really obsessed about it :D
At the moment: Samurai, Thriller Kung Fu, Wuxia and Mystery are my top genres.

Not only that but Korean Thrillers keep getting better and better over the years.
I am going to watch Battle Royale one day, it seems to be something I would enjoy for sure.
Ichi The Killer is a great movie if you have the open mind to watch it. It's a hit or miss based on your likings.
Instead of Love Shuffle, I see you started Kazoku Game. Are you really enjoying it? It's one of the best dramas of the year for me.

I see, I always tend to avoid anything that's dramatic, melodramatic so makjangs and melodramas are one of my least favorite genres. Romcoms are the bottom of favorites.
It's better to watch both of them if you get the chance. About the length, I expected 45 minutes per episode like the previous Reply but I got the exact double. I really dislike long episodes even if I like the drama, as you know I have a terrible patience level so I am bad with long episodes or long dramas. They have some long scenes but I wouldn't say it's very draggy.
You're not watching anything at the moment?

I only saw Kim Myung Min in The King of Dramas and I can tell that he's a great actor. I hope one of his other dramas/movies caught my intention one day. I like gettting to know "real actors".
I always liked the Japanese way of making Mystery/Suspense dramas so I had that drama on my radar for a long time now. I always wished it would get completly subbed and I got my wish. Did you manage to finish it?
I was sure you would like the ending since you're a fan of open endings that make you draw your own.
I was like that with romantic comedies, I hate them but I kept on watching them. Now, I decided to stop watching them for good.
I see, it does seem like an interesting drama. I will make sure to watch it when I have time.
Yes, Reply 1994 and the other Reply aren't related. If you want a quick storytelling then watch the first but if you want to see more characters' developpements and bonding then the second is the right choice.

I haven't seen the anime and I enjoyed the twists in Nine a lot (:
Do you like Makjangs? I heard that Scandal is a big dose of makjang that's why I didn't get near it.
Chase is a detective drama? I amy give it a go. I also love Arata.
I do like it and there are many things spinning in my head because of it. Does that mean that you liked Reply 1997?
Lee Jung Jae ahjussi is such a great actor. Nothing less to expect from a Korean movies' star.

I saw The Sword of Doom as this week's classic Japanese movie and I really loved it. Nakadai can do magic with his acting :D
I will let you know once I watch the sequels. I was going to watch them this week but I watched another Miike's gory movie "Ichi The Killer" it was gory and sick but I liked it :p

Oh come on Evony, I mean it's 100% clear who she's going to end up with and it's Trash without any single doubt.
I see, I always hated flower boy actors and Korean dramas are full of them. JYH is really a bad actor but I haven't seen him in Marry Him If You Dare. I like the male lead in that drama though, he was somehwat a childhood crush :D
I am still debating and I have some time to make a choice and thanks for the wishes (:
Did you finish watching Ikiru? What did you think of it?

I haven't seen Zatoichi but I plan to do that; I am being pushed back with some ther dramas and my list can't take any addition.
I recently finished Miike's Ichi The Killer and I loved it although it's extremely gory. I also saw two Korean thrillers that were out this year "The Berlin File" and "The New World" and I loved both of them.
You picked Tenchijin? What do you think?

I also saw The New World, it was a great movie. I am getting across great Korean thrillers this period.
I added many old HKC old movies to the database a long time ago and now, whenever I rewatch a movie and I don't find it I add it. However, I couldn't go through my huge DVD collection and add them all, I am either too lazy, don't have time or I rather watch something instead.
I plan to watch Battle Royale; I heard so much about it and how gory it can get and I like those types of movies. I finished Ichi The Killer recently and I really loved it.
Are you back to dramas or still in movies' phase?

Satoshi is such a versatile intense actor and yes he's mostly a movie star now but he did some dramas in the past (like the famous Orange Days). Unfortunately, his choices of roles are very weird. If you like romantic films then give Snowy Love Fall in Spring a chance. There are others but most of them were weird movies, I like his acting so I don't really mind. Yes, he was the one from Dororo, that movie was another weird enjoyable film where Satoshi was the male lead.
A friend sent me the link of the subbed ending. I will have to read it soon (:
I am watching Keiji no Manazashi because it seems like a different type of a detective drama. I am so glad it's subbed, now like you I hope that Link will get the right attention too.
You're watching Yakou Kanransha? I wanted to watch that drama so bad but they stopped subbing it at seven episodes so I decided to wait until it's completely subbed.
