I think a lot of people end up disliking many female leads because their personality is different. People watch a show and can't seem to understand why a character does what she does simly because they wouldn't do it themselves in the same situation. I honestly don't find any of the female leads mentioned in this article unlikable or annoying at all. At least, the ones mentioned that I have seen. I have seen far, far worse. First, Geum Jan Di. So many people dislike her, and I feel she gets more hate because of trivial stuff. Her voice? I admit, at the start of BOF her voice kind of was annoying to me, but after the first couple of eps, I got used to it. Plus, that is the way the actress her talks, her voice and dialect isn't kind of shallow to dislike a person because of their voice? Also, had she any other personality, it would have completely changed the Korean version. I actually really liked her. As for Dok Mi, girl went through severe bullying that had her afraid of people and the outside world. Cut her some slack, please people. As a sufferer of social anxiety disorder myself, I found her very relatable and she is one of my favorite characters.
