I agree with you. I took acting lessons as a teenager, and acted a little in stage productions so I know a bit about it. The worst part, though, is it reminded me of those kids in school who were asked to read aloud in class and were unable to read dialogue properly. It ruined the flow of the story and always made me cringe. In a show or movie, though, the most crucial part is how the actor comes across as the character. I don't want to sit there and watch someone on screen who just memorized a script and can't come across as the character they are supposed to be.

It is my favorite anime. :-D I did like the live action, but I think it could have been better. Still, it was good. :-)

Ok, after a few moments processing and moving past the 1986 WHAM! hairdo, I think I now able to make a more constrictive comment. I know that this show is already getting a lot of hate, and I don't want to just bash it for the sake of bashing, but yeah, it does look pretty apalling. I'm not even saying this as a Hana Yori Dango fan, either. Even though the teaser is extremely short, it was not impressive at all, especially the lead actress. Her voice and the way she spoke was atrocious. I really do not mean to be mean saying that, but it really was. You could easily tell that she has no experience acting, or even reading dialouge. I can't really say much else, since it was so short and she was the only one who spoke. Anyway, that is my honest impression.

I know Domyuji had some bad hair and all, but this just looks way worse! Lol

Wait wait wait. Does dude have a ponytail?! >_<
