Yes, exactly! That’s actually why I find myself leaning a bit more toward Hua Ru Yue. Her emotional approach and personal pain resonate with me a little more. But at the same time, I completely see where Bai Jiusi is coming from too. They both have their reasons and honestly, that’s what makes this story so rich and heartbreaking. No easy sides here... It’s about feeling every heartbeat of a love written in tragedy.

haha I totally get you! TBH, I was firmly on Bai Jiu Si’s side at first. He had me in my feels. But then I accidentally read a few spoilers (oops!), and suddenly I was leaning toward Hua Ru Yue. Now? I’m stuck in emotional purgatory. I can’t pick a side anymore! One thing’s for sure though: they do love each other, and this plot is about to wreck all of us.

I like that you picked a side already. But honestly, I feel like who we root for can depend on so many things: sometimes even whether we’re viewing it through a female or male lens! There’s just so much nuance in this drama, it’s hard not to have a little bias sneak in.

They each have valid reasons for their actions, and now I’m stuck in emotional limbo! I can’t even pick a side… this drama really said “no easy answers for you.” 😭
