Well according to the airing schedule its an episode each on Fridays and Saturdays and the rest of the week from Sunday to Thursday we'll have 2 episodes a day

I feel sad that we have only one episode of this drama tomorrow....

YESSSS! He was just the result of what and how people treated him. It was an obvious result too! Like who in the world wouldn't be affected by those doings!! And he tried his best and won in the end to not become what the people thought of him as - an evil being, a jinx...it was a good self development.
It broke my heart when he found out that all those things that happened to him was because that's how the devil god designed his life to be, how he was awfully and wrongfully treated...the look of betrayal that it was his fate that he was fighting all along and regardless of how much ever he tries it wouldn't change a thing....LYX portrayed really well!!!

Agree with you!! It doesn't make sense for them to give a happy ending when from the beginning they are shown as star-crossed lovers ( lovers you kept missing the right moment and each other)

The ending sure was confusing and hard to say what it was! But from what we were shown, it was the ML in the shell-kinda protection artifact smiling after we saw the FL & their daughter scene....
For a few moments i thought he surely died (maybe still do)....its kinda similar to the Novoland: Pearl Eclipse ending...(but a little better, that one damaged me)

1. What is the ending of the story?
The ML is kinda given a second chance at life during the last 15 or something episodes, he tries his best to not become the devil god, following the immortal path but is unable to kill people's so called hatred and prejudice against him and ends up having to forcefully become the devil. He becomes so in order to protect the so called people and his loved ones.
In the ending the ML is killed (but he survives) in order to destroy the devil god once and for all....but don't worry there is a little surprise for you in the final few minutes of the drama!

3. Does the male lead's character become demonic?
He himself out of his own accord due to the circumstances at that moment chooses to be demonized to protect his loved ones.

5. Is the ending open-ended?
It's kinda like an open ending since we see the ML's spirit in the end in an artifact healing himself.

OK JUST FINISHED THIS DRAMA AND HAD TO GIVE CREDITS TO A FEW PLACES!!!
1. Well firstly lets put this out there....LYX is literally one hell of a talented actor! He literally played three or more roles in this 40 episode drama!!(I seriously lost my mind keeping up with him) His visuals were great and so were his emotions, the way he conveyed the intensity through his acting and the way we could understand them....seriously he is sooooo good!!!(HE MADE ME BAWL MY EYES OUT SO MANY TIMES I LOST COUNT)
2. Bai Lu.....damnnn as usual she did an amazing job portraying her character! I cried with her when she had to keep everything bottled up after coming 500 years back from her and Tantai Jin's married life.
3. The COSTUMES!!! WOW! Simply wow!! They were prepared so well, they way they literally enhanced all the actors and actresses visuals!!
4. THE SUPPORTING CHARACTERS!! Without them this couldn't have been such a good drama! Their acting as well as their storyline just simply made everything sooo good!
5. The cinematography and directing (also graphics)....no other words...simply amazing! The drama conveyed what it was trying to, didn't lose the storyline or theme, the actors/actresses portrayed their roles perfectly, every moment shown to us led up to our so known ending and of course speaking of ending it was one that was not fake but one that made sense. Though I'm very sad that they couldn't live together but I understand why it has to be the way it is and of course the little girl in the end made things better of me!
The Bo-re life flashback became a bit draggy and kinda lost my interest there but that was before I knew the meaning behind it
In other words, this was a really good drama...maybe one of my favorites this year!

THIS DRAMA MADE ME BAWL MY EYES OUT!!! I DONT KNOW IF ILL EVER REWATCH IT BUT THIS IS DEFINITELY ONE MY MOST FAVOURITE CDRAMAS NOW!!!

Not yet! I didnt know it had started airing.....definitely watching it right after Shining for One Thing, thanks a lot for ending my never-ending rewatch binge!!
