Some things to consider: Kai almost had his career ruined in 2018 by an ex. According to a post further down he said he considered quitting because of all attacks on him. He got into acting to make money. He’s a low key person who seems not very interested in the “fame” side of things. He’s not flashy and calling attention to himself. He seems to work a lot and when he is off he is just with his parents at home. Why would this person who almost had his career ruined a few years before then act ridiculously and try and force himself on someone? I would think he would be very guarded around unknown people and would surely not allow himself to get into trouble. A few years ago he was a torchbearer for the Asian Games. My understanding is that those that were involved had to undergo a very thorough background check to make sure they had nothing in their past that could come out and bring shame on the games. (This included Xiao Zhan, who had recently overcome his own ridiculous scandal). The photos and chat logs don’t prove anything. The photos have no context and I believe she said they aren’t even her photos. So what does any of that prove? Absolutely nothing. I urge everyone to think rationally as to why this person has come out about events that supposedly happened 3 years ago. Why does something come out every time Kai has a drama airing. Who has he offended in his life. My goodness.

Wonder if Wu Zhens father is hiding something. In ep 3 he says he’s an outer disciple of Changxi(?) palace and she says they no longer exist and he makes a guilty kind of face 🤔🤔🤔

I’m not trying to cause a fight. Xu Kai is first billed. He should have more scenes. So far the screen time has been very unbalanced. This is all I am saying. Ep 10 was a mess. This is my
opinion.

Feels like many of his scenes have been cut in order to push the FL character into the main role. I feel like this was highly evident in ep 10, it really ruins the flow of the story.

He’s alive, that’s enough for them. lol imagine these people hate him so much and he’s just quietly living his life, not hurting anyone.

Sorry but ep 10 continuity was an actual mess. Where’s the logic? One scene MZY and WZ are right beside each other, next scene MZY is now where in sight as a demon is attacking? Make it make sense. Where did he go? How did he wind up miles away from where he just was? You can’t tell me his scenes aren’t being cut in favour of the FL. Also where did the blanket come from at the end? 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Yes, I was captivated by him from ep 1. He’s so good at dual roles too. I can really believe that Bai Jue and Qingmu are different people. It’s been 4 years and I’m still not over it lol

My all time favourite and first drama of Xu Kai’s was Ancient Love Poetry. His character in that has similarities to Mei Zhuyu. It’s a really beautiful drama. If you like xianxia you might like it.

He doesn’t always play cold and perfect. He's had a few dramas where he plays quite unserious, fun characters such as Arsenal Military Academy and Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain. In Court Lady he is basically a playboy who changes for love. But many C drama ML role is perfect man so maybe it’s a lack of options in scripts and ofc sometimes his agency will make him take a role that maybe he would rather not.
