I don’t think it’s so much to do with episode counts but it’s about promotion of certain actors as paid by their studios to get more screentime. I don’t compare C-drama to K-drama. K dramas aren’t as good as they used to be and they also have lots of pointless episodes

I think this is not being framed correctly. Fans aren’t turning their backs on him. They will support HIM. I’m sure they will support the character of Shen Run but they won’t give support to the drama or other casts. Does that make sense?

I think he had a decent amount of screen time in Best Choice Ever, that was true ensemble cast and it didn’t go off on random side quests. Unfortunately, MR really took a downward turn about halfway through, so disappointing because the drama had good potential 🙁

I watched today’s episode twice cos I felt like I was missing something, I hope we can have a flashback of Huo Kaiming and Chen Hui in the car before the accident. I feel like Chen Hui set this trap for Huo Kaiming tho, make him think he’s got the power then turn the tables on him. 🤔I wasn’t surprised by the ending of the episode because I expected that he was putting on a show but dang, that’s dedication. Chen Hui is fully committed to the path he is on 🫣I don’t think Songge fully realizes how far he is willing to go.

Fans aren’t trying to ruin the drama, they’re just not going to give it promotion. They’re not going doing the dramas work for them. Fan promotion is a big part in driving popularity. Fans are basically having a protest because they’re unhappy with how Kai was treated on this production.
