I understand what you mean, I never understood how they can get the benefits if they’re not the ones actually taking the trial. However, in ALP, Shanggu does wind up taking part of Gu Jun’s trial which helps her understand what Bai Jue did for her and how she needs to improve herself. 🙂

I love his look in ALP. He’s 6’1 he can carry some extra weight. Bai Jue is meant to be the strongest of all Gods, he should look physically imposing. ALP was the first drama I ever watched with Kai and found him so beautiful. He’s even more beautiful now but I still love Bai Jue the most 😌

Rewatching for the 7000000000th time and paid attention to something more than before. It’s interesting to see how Bai Jues outfits change throughout. In the beginning he’s mostly in white or very light muted colours. His character is quite pure and aloof. In the second arc as Qing Mu he mostly wears blues and greens, maybe to reflect the North Sea origin. In the 3rd arc he wears black, I call it the “Bad Jue” era, because he is mean to complete his purpose. However, whenever he sneaks away to visit Shanggu and Yuanqi he is in more blue tones- perhaps to reflect Qing Mu. Then at the end, he is back to his true self from the beginning. I love watching this drama so much because I can always find new details and always learning more Chinese with each round. 🤗

Honestly tho, the biggest problem in C-Ent is the fans themselves. Fan wars over billing order, fans being so demanding about stars personal lives, attacking other fandoms, weight shaming, creating chaos in public places, stalking- like CHILL OUT. You don’t have ownership over people’s lives. Reflect on yourself first. I don’t know why they can’t realize their behaviour hurts everyone 😤(like a Weibo night red carpet got cancelled a few years ago because of fan gathering even though they were told not to, as an example)

What’s even more wild is there are people who believe it’s all true. Even on FB the AI said Kai got married in July 😂 like when?

I don’t want to be used to it 😩 I’ll still watch and support him, I just want justice for him lol

I think Yu Tong or Chen Hui cos they’re different to what he played before. He’s played so many costume drama so it’s not really new genre. But I will happily watch them all and he always looks good in costume 🤗

I understand your point and we can see that he does feel conflicted when he thinks he’s going to get his big payday after the apartment project, he even asks if they can still live there after. He is actually a good person but his financial situation is making him desperate. If he didn’t have his financial pressure and company was successful because of how he treats everyone then it would feel different, right?

He definitely jumped the gun on that one. He should have put the money into savings or investment and waited till he had more losses. Just too eager to get the apartment.
