A few years ago there was a drama where the the main lead was co-opted by another actor with bigger backing. The fans of the main actor basically did the same thing. The production company had to back track and put a lot of his scenes back into the drama. When the drama aired you could tell who was meant to have the main story, unfortunately the mess was already made and the drama wasn’t as good as it could have been. So there is precedent for the fans behaviour. 🤷♀️ I won’t expect much from this drama but I will still support Kai

So many good dramas get ruined by trying to boost certain actors screen times with unnecessary side quests. I don’t understand- like I do understand in c-ent it’s all about money but the dramas would be successful if they focused on great storytelling instead.

I’d rather he has less screen time in a quality production than more time in a nonsensical production. The story is always the most important thing in any show. I don’t have an issue with his screen time here because he is a central character, he will likely have more screen time as the drama progresses.

This is my first drama w Deng Enxi, I think I will definitely check out some more of works. She actually really pretty too. Personally I am not surprised by Kai’s acting, I think he’s underrated by most people. There’s a behind the scenes and he’s even directing the extra where to hit him on his back and what way will look best for the camera angle. He takes his work seriously and has had a great opportunity to work on many dramas and have that learning experience. I would say a lot of his age group of actors haven’t had the same amount of experience as him (not all obviously but a lot).
