Fans aren’t trying to ruin the drama, they’re just not going to give it promotion. They’re not going doing the dramas work for them. Fan promotion is a big part in driving popularity. Fans are basically having a protest because they’re unhappy with how Kai was treated on this production.

I’m sure he will do the promotions when he needs to. Hes professional after all, unlike some other people 😌

He will only do what he’s contractually obligated to do for this, I imagine. He’s probably over it and doesn’t really care. He’s got like 4 months left? He’s probably counting down the days. I would be 😅 hopefully karma will come for everyone and Kai will be the best thing about the drama. 😇

I feel exhausted by all this drama. I can only imagine how Kai must feel. 🙁

💯 % I am loving it

A few years ago there was a drama where the the main lead was co-opted by another actor with bigger backing. The fans of the main actor basically did the same thing. The production company had to back track and put a lot of his scenes back into the drama. When the drama aired you could tell who was meant to have the main story, unfortunately the mess was already made and the drama wasn’t as good as it could have been. So there is precedent for the fans behaviour. 🤷‍♀️ I won’t expect much from this drama but I will still support Kai

But it’s completely understandable. The more you lose control over bigger situations, the more the little things tip you over the edge.

He’s the son of a policeman. He surely learned things while growing up. In later episodes I think they will show more of his backstory so we can understand him better

Chen Hui’s dilemma really keeps growing. End of ep 7 has some really great acting from Kai

So many good dramas get ruined by trying to boost certain actors screen times with unnecessary side quests. I don’t understand- like I do understand in c-ent it’s all about money but the dramas would be successful if they focused on great storytelling instead.

I’d rather he has less screen time in a quality production than more time in a nonsensical production. The story is always the most important thing in any show. I don’t have an issue with his screen time here because he is a central character, he will likely have more screen time as the drama progresses.
