I started got into Kdrama years ago after I pick up DVD from local library for “Jewel in the Palace” and “The Heirs”. After that the K-thriller movies on dvd such as “Hwayi: the Monster Boy”, “Man from Nowhere” and “Old Boy”…. Then I was hook. Subsequently It was the classic dragging old K romantic drama such as “Stairway to Heaven” “All In” “Winter Sonata”… can’t believe those old dvd got me even more hook to K entertainment world.
Anyway, Lee Min Ho was cute and handsome when he was in his 20s, for the mature 30s actors and actresses, the acting skill is vital
really wanted to watch this but then I realized it has Gina Jin in it...... sigh
I didn’t like Gina Jin in “Joy of Life” but like her in “Falling into You”. I think it is depend on the role she is given. I am going to give this a try because of the strong storyline
5 episodes in, what make me continue watching perhaps is the cute FL and the ML’s role here, also cute handsome second couple. However, some scenes were dragging slow putting me to sleep, had to fast forward.
Season 1 has better value, after the ML the sole surviver won the billions, he gave some of the money back to the family of deceased players. Some of the games were childhood games, was kind of fun to watch. However Season 2, basically attempt revenge, unsuccess, brave good players dead and weak/evil/crazy/scary players stayed behind live, depressing, no value, no good message, sudden end. What is good about it?
