Mee too. I miss this kind of high quality supreme production old drama. Good old drama never left us

The number of episodes scared me first too. Had put this on hold for awhile until after I watch “The Double”. I want more of Wu Jin Yan. I didn’t regret watching this drama. It is solid, real deal, beautifully production, award winning drama. The story and the acting is like a magnet in this drama. You don’t see this kind of real historical drama make anymore

If you like Wu Jin Yan, you should watch her other epic drama “The Double” and “Royal Feast”

Tubi and Viki has good sub

Lots of Xu Kai’s fans were upset how his character ended here. Hence, XuKai and the FL WJY cast in another drama after this called “Royal Feast” check it out. XuKai gets to be emperor there.

If you like the FL acting, after watching this, try “The Double” a nicely done revenge drama, then watch another epic palace slow burn but very elegant high quality drama called “Story of Yanxi River”

Somehow, I couldn’t finished any of Zhou!usi’s drama. I mean she is pretty, I like to watch her on the stage singing and dancing, so hot. I like to see her play more mature role in future. Anyway, for this FL, I found myself keep saying her lips so small and the nose pull the upper lips up … but I like her acting

Just finished this. Love it. The main leads chemistry no doubt was perfect. My first time watching them both, will be the follower of the male lead Liu Yu Ning. This role was perfect for him. He has the height, the commanding and the soft voice, oh… and the kisses.. so damn good. Lol.

It took me a few episodes to start liking the FL. Mainly liking her acting and voice. Love the end where both of them read the wishes poem together. Their voice together really resonance in my ear. She is a little petite girl, he is so tall, but when their faces closed together, their gaze was so seductive.

Several villains in this drama were not too strong, Not too many miscommunication, That make this drama smooth and easy to watch, not too frustration or dragging like many other C drama.

Overall it is a 9/10. The great acting, the chemistry, the Cinematography, a little humor, the directing, the editing, the costume the bromance, the lightning, the OST, the hot kissing scenes… good job the whole team

First few episodes were hard to watch. Toward the middle felt so frustrated to several main role. It gets really good last few episodes. I enjoy the contemporary dancing or Zhang Chu Xi and Hou Wen Yuan

Love Zhang Ke Lang’s Hunan accent, very cute on his handsome face too
