I am not argue about that either. Many historical Cdrama, Kdrama, Jdrama touch the topic of sex/gender discrimination, class inequality, cast system, stupid old dowry system, social bias, etc... Sad that some part of the world still practice this outdated despicable act..

I watch Korean version first then watch Japanese version. I like both at the end. All the actresses and actors on both movies did a wonderful job. The differences is they filmed it bases on their own culture. The Japan version have that soft and gentle vibe. Whereas the Korean version has that rough tone. For example, the Japan version FL has that high pitch voice and cute look. The Korean FL has that mature look and lower tone voice. I think the Korean version ML looks older, more muscular, also looks like he have had tough and rough life. Anyway, if I have to compare, I think the original Korean one touch me more and make me more engage in the story. Perhaps the Korean couple were more mature looking.
