So I have never finished watching any drama played by ZLS yet. I am on episode 2 right now, this drama is getting better and better and I am sure I will finish watching it. The FL is really not significant in this type of story, just like JOL

It is so much better if you can understand the language. The sub couldn’t interpret the tone of voice, the poem, the art of hidden meaning, etc. especially historical drama, their sentence structure are different then the modern grammer.

Same screenwriter as JOL. Therefore story was interesting some of the supporting cast acting not as good, I think director to blame. Zhou Rui Yun need to work on his posture LOL. Theresa LiThanks to her cuteness, her child-like acting not matching with ML amazing acting.

When princess Zhao Hua and his mom Consort Li together, mom (Wu Jin Yan) looks younger then princess, lol. Nevertheless, I thought Rain did a good job for her role. 6 episodes easy watch. Wu Jun Yan and Nie Yuan (the emperor) still carrying the show, their acting provide some substance to the show.
