I love how Yeo Jin Goo gets to play a character as complex and multi-dimensional as Han Joo Won. HJW is a character…
Choosing Yeo Jingoo for the role of Han Joowon was a perfect choice. I don't think anyone else could play this role better than him. He shows so many sides of him without even saying much, his every gesture matters, as you said HJW appears cold and arrogant, calculative, and doubtful, but he has soft sides too, sides he wants to hide but sometimes they just come to the surface, making him sensitive. I love to see him growing and developing into a better character. I also think JW's passion to bring light to unsolved cases might be connected to his past as well. something about his mother maybe.
thank you so much, i was on the fence about watching season 2 since it too sooooo llllooonnngg to drop. i had…
You're welcome! Love triangles between friends indeed never end well. I actually really like Kim Sohyun, she is a great actress. Since it's only 6 episodes you could give it a try. Though I can see that many things will upset you.
ikr? Anyone would get suspicious of DS & whole police station tbh. From our point of view, yes we "understand"…
Exactly. From the very beginning for me least involved character was JW sonce he isn't resident of Manyang and ever since then I started seeing events from his POV. Then one by one small secrets and hidden stories started to pop up, yes viewers made conclusions and connected the dots but JW isn't a viewer lolI agree with you that HJW would be seen as complete fool if he didn't suspect everyone with given information and how they handled everything up till now.

Agreed. Actually even DS knew that JW was really useful for him. He chose him on purpose. (since JW is smart and actually has connections) Also he might be rude but in that huge part is because of how he was raised up, and how his father treated him. JW hasn't even met single person who didn't expect anything from him or didnt ask anything. It's natural to be alarmed. even his "friend" uses him and his father for his own benefits. Furthermore what happened to his previous job. they basically threw him out with terrible and made up reason. although he had all the knowledge about these two cases and saw connection they didn't notice. He might be a bit rude but useless? JW hasn't heard of that
So this what the writers of season 2 did to SO's character:1) They literally made SO a side character in season…
Agreed. SO's character had so much potential to evolve from damaged teen to accomplished adult but oh boy he was completely ruined.also It was rodiculous. How writers wanted to say that "even if you have to fake it keep being with person who is nice to you till you really like them" Like they thought month break was enough for SO to heal and then go to YJ? That was unfair for both sides.
there's smth about jeongje's case thou that feels iffy that's why i havent been commenting on him. but i think…
I also think that Jungjae is a witness. The event left him so traumatized he wanted to replace the faces of those women with deer. He said that women called him in plural form. So he might've seen both women in Jinmook's truck (when he killed that woman and took Yuyeon as hostage) But Jinmook said that he "sent her back" to dongsik means he isn't the one who killed her. And another girl was already dead (?) so she wouldn't be able to call out (unless she stayed alive like minjung) I don't know how or who but I think what Jungjae saw wasn't just Yuyeon but someone else too.
I liked the season 1 SO or more accurately i sympathised with him. He was a person who had a very sad life and…
I was about to comment when I saw this one. I agree with you. I'd also add from my side that yes, I absolutely love Song Kang, but as for Sunoh, I too from season 1 liked him as a character with relatable sides, I sympathized with him as well, he was portrayed more detailed than HY, writers made him interesting, he had huge potential to grow and mature as years passed by, but as Khankhan1234 said, in season 2 he was used by writers just as a helper in developing of Main couple arc. He basically became the wasted character.
I gotta say, I really loved your comment! And agree with you too! Feels like they lost the plot or what they wanted…
Yes, absolutely, they messed up even right before ending. I don't know what kind of dialogue writers wanted to make but they failed in delivering the main message of "love alarm"

Agree absolutely. That is the main point that made me upset and frustrated. That she didn't care much to explain to him what actually happened when every time they met he questioned her, "why? was it me? why did you have to abandon me?" but she just cried or said sorry but for what it was never made clear. Then writers made him accept the confusion. and that angered me even more. instead of " Do you regret installing shield?" he had to ask "what exactly made you install the shield?" and instead of her saying "I learned a lot from it" she had to explain further what was in her mind. Because fact that she was broken doesn't justify breaking SO even more than he was. Sure I will show you the review! you gotta send me yours too! I'll read it with pleasure. p.s I will never forget heartbreak caused by SJ either. Just-
