I almost didn't watch this drama or the other Scarlet Heart foe that reason but both dramas were so good I was able to see beyond the hair style.

yes! I love that it is a Scarlet Heart/Meteor Garden hybrid!!! This drama is corny at times but it is an all time favorite!!!

I decided to watch it because I <3 Bai Lu. My expectations were low because I had just been dying to see Song of the Moon which sucked so bad!! I was afraid this one would suck too! I think it is my 2nd favorite Cdrama now (2nd to Arsenal Military Academy). I couldn't believe how good it was!! It was practically painful waiting for new episodes!! I hadn't felt that way for dramas in a long time!!!

I HATE open endings but this drama's "open ending" leaves you making an inference about a happy ending so I feel it is not an annoying open ending and not necessarily a sad ending! Such a good drama! I highly recommend!

YUP!! I am actually rewatching it! And so far I have only fast forwarded a long battle in like episodes 18ish, I am currently on episode 36. Love this drama!!
