I bought the OST for Goblin as soon as I could! I listen to both the instrumental and vocals cds frequently to this day! At least almost monthly I will be in the mood for it.
It's the instrumental OST that does it for me - one such recent example is The Devil Judge, I was ready to watch…
I love the instrumentals in OSTs too! Tesrliner makes some great instrumentals that I love. That have one that plays in the drama Triple And Sungkyunkwan Scandal that is so beautiful and then another one that I find powerful emotionally in Cheese in the Trap. I feel Goblin and Scarlet Heart Ryeo have some great instrumentals too
Oh my goodness, you have almost all the dramas in mind, Literally!!!I recently just did a my girl and BOF ost…
Me too! Music is so important to me and since discovering Asian TV I get so annoyed watching US tv with the lack of effort put into music. My daughter watched a drama with me last year and she was amused that they used the same music over and over again in different episodes and I forgot that isn't the norm! I am sure there are some dramas that if I liked the music more that ai would like the drama more! The OST can chance the whole dynamic of a scene!
I definitely recommend dramas because of their OSTS! It is in my top 5 reasons why I love Asian television. Very few US shows have any music that moves me. Music is so powerful for me that some dramas I don't really like I think I like them because of the OST. For example Tamra the Island I would rate a 3 but the OST is so beautiful I love it and have restarted the dramas again for the OST alone!
I fell in love with the Cdrama The Wolf before it even aired because of the song Never that was used in the trailer. Sadly they didn't end up using it in the drama! I was able to buy it on itunes but they changed it and cut the rap part out which made me sad.
My top drama OSTS: Goblin My Girl Scarlet Heart Ryeo Shut Up Flower Boy Band Tamra the ISland Chuno Hwayugi 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms Legend of Fu Yao Boys Over Flowers Sungkyunkwan Scandal Mary Stayed Out All Night It's Okay to Not be Okay City Hunter Brightest Star in the Sky
I just don't get those plots where you've lived with a person since childhood as siblings but you still have feelings…
Everyone thinks differently? There is a lot of trauma in dramas so I can see them even as young children attaching to other people in a way different from typical sibling relationships. Also it seems from watching a bunch of Chinese dramas like Go Ahead and My Fated Boy that even though they were kind of raised together, their dynamics were a mix of family and friend relationships that I felt the story shows how the relationship could form .
Hi! Haven't watched this drama yet, waiting for it to finish airing. But can anyone recommend any dramas, mangas,…
Check out Sungkyunkwan Scandal or the Chinese Remake that came out last year: In a class of her own. Another drama with the same trope: Arsenal Military Academy. Strongest female lead ever!
Omg!!! This is a stunning article:https://consideringasia.wixsite.com/thoughts/post/cancel-culture-branding-cultural-divides-and-kim-seon-hoI…
This article made me so happy! I hope this is the beginning! I can't stand the he said, she said stuff that gets made into a big deal and people lose their jobs over this! Without thinking I said a very black and white statement out of anger that I regretted right after the words left my mouth! I also have a coworker who I love dearly but is a very negative person and turns everyone's word into it's hard to explain...like she changing the tone/meaning so it comes off in a completely different way then originally stated. Almost like the game telephone. Her mouth would get so many people fired if it worked the same fore Korean stars. SO many stars have been affected and it seems like people target them when they are at their highest. I almost feel it is other companies behind it that want to ruin the other companies stars because it is just way to east. Seo Ye Ji and Ji Soo are 2 other stars I feel badly for. And the cast of River Where the Moon Rises. I personally could not finish it. I tried but Na In Woo's version of the character just came off very wooden to me and was lacking the energy/chemistry I felt with Ji Soo's character. In Na In Woo's defense I think he had to act out scenes with no one actually opposite him as it was just to replace the Ji Soo scenes in the episodes I saw. Anyway I hope this is the beginning of the end of this horrible cancel culture bug that is going on in Korea. I hope it also leads to more freedom for actors too! Maybe if it wasn't for the strict policies in the Korean culture for stars maybe Kim Seon-Ho would be a happy father. Maybe the culture that should be cancelled is the one not doesn't allow stars to be human.
Asia is really blessed with beautiful history that can be even more beautiful as a fantasy!
Oh no no no I wouldn't them to try and make wuxia just fantasy dramas in previous time periods that take place in different worlds with magic and stuff like wuxia dramas and medieval European fantasies.
For example Tamra the Island I would rate a 3 but the OST is so beautiful I love it and have restarted the dramas again for the OST alone!
