I find it truly comical how everyone here is saying the romance was not needed. Yeah, like we are going to pretend romance is not a part of everyday life. There’s plenty of dramas without romance, go suit your expensive buds and watch them. We watch actors and tend to forget that behind every drama is a story being told by a scriptwriter. This is not just the actors works, this is the imagination of a writer so please, we can criticise constructively but telling a writer how to tell his story is just funny. Go write yours then if you’re so peeved.

Inbtw, I have the greatest appreciation for the ML amd FL. I appreciate the storyline; from a different perspective it’s a breath of fresh air and I certainly appreciate the dynamics of the secondary characters. Yes, our FL is imperfect, but not ‘unnecessary’. She just happens to be a human which a lot of you are offended by.

The script is excellent. Do not mind the adults in the comment section that are acting like kids from an era where nudity and sex is a crime rather than a thing of nature.

Glad I’m not alone on that! And yes, you’re right. While I truly appreciate and admire the politics, Li Wan’Er and Ruo Ruo add a certain flair to the drama. And you just can’t help but be immersed at how the two carry themselves as true born noble ladies… especially Wan’Er 🥹

Seems like I’m the only one waiting for our drumstick fanatic AKA Wan’Er to make a proper appearance 😩

Who just watched a dragon reborn? 🐉… This drama keeps getting better and better. While many feel the internal politics were a bit much (and I kinda agree) you can’t help but agree that it paved way for the Emperor to finally break out of his shell 🔥 And yes, the internal conflict too is part of the war, an even more dangerous kind of war for certain.

Star studded cast 🥺 I can see a lot of people who performed in A Dream of Splendor… will be adding this to my watchlist 😁

This drama just keeps getting better and better. I’m excited to see the concubine’s character arc. She’s a good person and I feel like she will further the emperor’s cause in her own capacity. Mehn, as for that mean empress, it’s a good thing that her manipulative and deceitful side is showing.

It wasn’t enough that she almost caused the Emperors death, instead now she is pushing to have the concubine thrown out in the name of “She has the Emperor’s heart”. Perhaps what the emperor is scared of will truly come to pass, may he would come to hate her as he has been avoiding.

Meanwhile, I’m here for the bromance between the Emperor and Kang Gam Chan… the ending of ep 20 has my toes tingling with excitement!

There’s still a season 3, so honestly it’s up to you. I hate cliffhangers, but this drama was one I was willing to embrace. And after watching it, my enjoyment of the drama far surpassed my feelings on the cliffhanger.

It’s a symbol, almost like the emperor telling her that he is cutting her off.

Which is why its titled 'Eve' not 'Adam' 🙄

Believe it or not, this drama is a really good one. Totally enjoyable and absolutely binge watchable! I don't get the trolling and hate, but color me guilty but this drama was a good bang. No, not the best (which drama ever is 🙄) but this ONE did something right. Exhilarting, exciting, suspenseful and light. I will watch this if I am in the mood for something not stressful(Yes, surprise, some dramas can be really stressful to watch😑)
