People complaining about how gmmtv ruins BL cause they are pudist, but they're still on top of the game. People…
I think that's a bit far-fetched. Showing more skinship does not necessarily mean you'll end up with a "soft porn". But I think it's absolutely weird if you have a romantic series without any REAL romantic scenes in it. If you date someone, don't you kiss that person and even sex is a natural part of it? (I can understand NOT wanting to show sex scenes in drama, but kissing/skinship in general... really?) I get what you're trying to say, but don't forget the Internet reaches a wider audience - not just Thailand, but the whole world.
And everyone has different preferences. This drama is great at what it does, but for me it is lacking something.
Is this movie scary? This is the only reason why I haven't watched it yet, I really can't handle horror and horror scenes of any kind, so please do tell me.
After posting the review I feel so empty. Gosh I will miss this show, even with how messy it was at times.I just…
Same honestly. I partly read your review - it is great and I agree with pretty much everything. The chemistry b/w Fighter and Tutor was off the charts. It was really that good.
ok...this episode was all over the place. I feel like its a common thing now, Sarawat wants something, Tine isn't…
So do the actors in here not want to do more OR are they not allowed to do more? Either way, at its core, this is supposed to be a super romantic series, but from what I have seen the actual romance is completely cutted off. At least give us good kissing scenes.. or is that too much already? For me there is no chemistry between the 2 male leads, sadly. Or even if there is, they are not allowed to show us so it seems.
NGL, this is too much even for me (and I'd say I'm quite open-minded). I don't think I can watch this.
I'd like to watch a decent BL drama from the Philippines, but this one... There is a fine line between making sex (love) scenes tasty and just.. yeah, too much. I don't want to watch a porn. Also, all the actors that have acted in these scenes must have been uncomfortable as fuck. I don't support this.
She is very pretty, but way too skinny. I wish she'd gain more health and look more healthy.. I know, by chineses standards this is considered very attractive, but for me it just makes me feel concerned for her well-being.
I also hope she won't overwork herself too much. She accepted so many roles, that's kind of crazy.
JulySnow2 - have you already watched a lot of kdramas? I'm honestly asking this because asian drama in general have a LOT of flaws when it comes to writing. I notice this every single time I end up watching a drama episode. I can agree with all of the points you made, though I honestly still very much enjoy Goblin (didn't finish watching it yet though).
I also said this previously in another comment, but I'm not a huge fan of LMH. How should I explain this, I love actors who make a lot of facial expressions (and are in general very expressive while acting) - LMH is the exact opposite of that.
Based on the first episode only, I like the female lead. She is strong and capable, something I don't see that often when it comes to female leads in asian drama. Kim Go Eun is really a great actress, but the hugging scene (maybe she had to act that way, not sure) at the end here made me think she wasn't very comfortable while doing that.. also their height difference is huuuuuge. I'm not sold on their chemistry.
Haha I have one actor that I don't like (I won't name him here ;D) at all and I don't even know why, but he always…
I agree, that's what I was trying to say as well.
I guess I don't hate HIM so to speak, it's just that I'm not a big fan of "bad guy" characters.
Anyway, I finished the first episode and ... it was not that bad, really. I love the Alice in Wonderland reference because that's my #1 favorite book of all time, and it looks like the female lead is strong and capable. I just hope the male lead is actually a nice guy.
I find it quite amusing that as soon as someone writes anything negative on here (be it about her or someone else), everyone gets all defensive and jumps on that person. Well, some comments are meant to provoke and it seems to work well here. Not gonna lie, I think the characters she has picked in the past... aren't my favorites. I also believe she doesn't know how to kiss well, or doesn't want to, I don't know. Disappointing when she has the lead role for quite a few romantic drama. I hope she picks a role in the future that is better written and in general a strong female lead.
I dislike Lee Min Ho, not necessarily as an actor but I tried to watch Heirs years ago and I absolutely hated his character there.. so yeah (I hated that Drama in general), but I'm a huge fan of Kim Go Eun, so I'm going to start watching this drama now.
I don't know if anyone of you heard/know about this, but after Goblin he has been in a "Slump". He said in an interview he couldn't seperate/distance himself enough from his acting role, meaning it really affected him in a negative way I assume. Maybe depression or something similar? He's my favorite male actor, despite his age. I wish him all the best. I think he is absolutely amazing and outstanding
I'm currently binge-watching this drama and I can't stop fangirling over Mew (Tharn)... He's smooth as fuck... and so handsome. I die a little inside whenever I see a hot scene with him and Gulf. I don't think I could ever be an actress, I wouldn't be able to be professional around him, LOL
After watching 3 meals I can say you are the kind of man hard to live with.
But how will you know if he is or isn't a jerk in real life... fact is, you don't know him. you only know parts of him via media and we all should be aware of how inaccurate media often is. even if he was the one to break off the relationship - it doesn't mean he is a bad person, people have their reasons...

Honestly though, not a very "enjoyable" movie that makes you "feel good". But it would be boring if everything is just kind of the same, right?
