On Work Later, Drink Now Season 2 Dec 21, 2022
Just starting the second episode, please tell me it gets better. Yes, they had to address the cancer diagnosis, but the way they're going about it so bad. The style and tone of this season is so different from the first. Like, did the new director even watch the first season? I really thought I wanted a second season. Now, not so much. Does it get better? I'm getting myself ready to have to drop it. : (

Terribly disappointed in this series. Too much time is spent on the Reality TV part and not enough time is spent…
Wow, was it ever a hot mess!

Title Love Is for Suckers Spoiler
The first episode starts as a flashback from the final episode of Kingdom of Love - all the "final couples" in tuxes and wedding gowns - but we never circled back around to that moment. Gotta say, though, that the last episode was better than the majority of the series. They finally started developing a storyline right at the end.

The leads give off a best friend chemistry that when they kissed I almost thought it was normal for best friends…
I was thinking the same. They had great chemistry as friends, but not at all as lovers.

i was a huge fan of Choi Si Won since before revolutionary love and was really looking forward to this drama.…
Yes! Of course, if I had a girlfriend like that I'd look pissed off all the time, too!

OMG, what is WITH the cheesy 80s synth music in the background? OK, you can't get rights to the ACTUAL music, at least put some effort into matching the atmospheric filler music with the atmosphere of the scene! This has started to become more common lately. If it gets much worse it might make me quit kdrama altogether.

It's hard to watch Choi Si Wan mope around. Not that he's doing a bad job with the role, and I can understand wanting to break out of mischievous imp he's been typecast as, but I just can't see him in this character. I'm trying to keep an open mind. Maybe the script will surprise me. Maybe there's some nuance I'm just not seeing. But I'd like to see him in a serious role better suited to his image. I hope he doesn't end up with FL. (And why is she half naked most of the time?)

Big hopes for this drama! It's got so many of my fave actors and actresses! The screenwriter can be hit-or-miss, but when she's good, she's great!

No. They both ended single
I thought it was pretty clear that Ju Hee recognizes him, even though he doesn't seem to recognize her. Some part of him might. Implied to me that they end up together.

yup ,,, he sold his own granddaughter to pay his debt and that's her punishment for stealing the rich girl's life…
Could be that, either way she's punished. But if he sticks around long enough to demand ransom and collect payment, he's a lot more likely to be caught, rather than just stealing the baby and disappearing to sell it.

I think we're going to get a season 2
The only way I'd want a season two is if it involved a whole new set of characters, except granny, selling some other supernatural object from her table. That one question kept nagging me all the way through the series: What does all the other stuff on her table do?

okay chill guys, there's no need to keep on criticizing on Ju HeeJu Hee done nothing wrong, you guys keep finding…
Agreed. She isn't a main character, why would she be written as one? She's a great supporting character and filled that role well.

No, she’s not. His real mother is dead, and the homeless lady is aware of the whole thing, she said that she…
Ok, but iirc, she said her housekeeper stole her spoon, implying she was originally the housekeeper, who switched with the politician, then switched back and lost her spoon. Do we know that TY's mom wasn't a politician? Homeless lady could have been pregnant before she switched, had the baby, then switched. back. In the mean time, the politician fell in love while switched to the housekeeper, switched back, and couldn't get the divorce. Because of course, her husband knew about the spoon. Ok, so I'm writing my own episode, here, but that's the fun, isn't it?

I don't think anything you've said negates the possibility. The homeless lady isn't aware of TY and SC switching. She had her own spoon, and may not have all of her memory, just as TY doesn't have all of his. Claims of his mother's death could be a cover-up by his father.

Wth 😆 She ain't. She's way older than being a mom 🤣
Except the kids are supposed to be in their 30s, so...She's the same age as the other parents.

still, im glad that they went with his father’s death plot rather than using “the power of his love for juhee”…
Yes, that's where I thought it was going, and didn't want them to switch back. Until the end of ep. 14 I thought they are all better off where they are. I still kind of hope they don't switch back, but I feel better about it now if they do. It will be the result of some real soul searching instead of just puppy love.

Bro really died in 30 seconds when the knife was not even pulled out, while his son decided that calling an ambulance…
He was stabbed like 5 or 6 times. Surprised he could manage to speak.
