Woo-hoo!

I'm glad O Chun Su has stepped up as head of the household. It took him a little while to get used to being the oldest, I guess.

Choi Byung Mo is another actor who gets a lot of bit parts and "chairman's secretary" type roles, but he's really showing his talent in this series.

I think Jang Mi Ae really loves Dokgo Tak but he's gonna throw his whole life away.

And where can I find the jacket Jang Mi Ae is wearing when she tells O Gang Su to leave, outside her husband's office, about 50 minutes into ep. 39?

Well, it was a hair commercial. There was absolutely no other reason for that scene, lol. And then the talk about how "voluminous" her hair was. It was an awkward placement. But they've gotta make money, I guess.

Camera suddenly to Se ri washing her hair in middle of room. 😳 what was that?
A korean bathroom? Did you see the showerhead on the wall? They tend not to have bathtubs/shower stalls. You wash in a basin. And there's a drain in floor. It looks like it would be much easier to clean, tbh.

Chairman says he won't rush things to suit his own needs, then immediately sets about rushing things to suit his own needs!

Yay SeRi and professor flashbacks ... don’t care 😂 still not buying they’re grand love story. I was expecting…
I bet CS's ex wife is dying.

That confrontation scene with Se Ri's parents was just perfect, all the way around. Beautifully acted by everyone involved, just the right balance between tense and restrained. It could have gone over the top very easily (and sometimes that's really fun), but never crossed that line. Bravo!

Just a thought for why the chairman may have not given the FL time to grieve:Based on her mother forcing her to…
Idk, I think he's just so far removed from his own grief that he's forgotten what it's like, even though, up until recently, he thought he'd never be with anyone else either. It was so long ago that his loyalty to his wife had more to do with how he thought about himself than how he really felt in his heart. He's just not in the same place in his healing as the FL.

I love this series but I TOTALLY hate when FL acts as a brainless moron like in ep23. The dumb loser FL is so…
Then don't watch.

I was so bothered by Yun Jiwon's wardrobe. I get that she was a teacher and probably a nerd but really? And the…
Sometimes I suspect that the actors have to provide their own wardrobe unless they get a sponsorship. I watched another drama where they made reference to this. One of the characters was trying to become an actor and needed money for a wardrobe. I've since wondered if that's the way things work in Korea. I've seen so many examples of cheap suit jackets that don't fit thrown on with casual pants, or sack dresses so wrinkled they look like they've been pulled out of the bottom of the recycling bin. I don't know that it really works that way, but it doesn't seem unlikely. Probably the money isn't there. Or they've put it all into one or two characters.

Park Joon Geum has really come to be one of my favorite actresses. The first couple of roles I saw her in were cold, closed-off evil witch MILs. But the more I see her the more I think she really brings a lot of warmth to her characters, even though they're meddlesome and frustrating. She's classy and down-to-earth at the same time. And she never makes acting look like work!

Just watched the 1st episode and thought about how outrageous younger people must think the plot is. But it really wasn't very long ago that it was realistic and not uncommon. Watching in the US with women's (and others) rights being stripped away, we're headed back to that quickly.
