Can somebody edit the page to add House Husband? I'm not familiar enough with the show. Was he on one episode, or an ongoing cast member? I'm watching via YouTube clips and not getting the full picture.
But what happened to restaurant!? Did they go back to selling chicken? Did they hire staff and managers and keep it as a side income? Did the wife take over? Was its reputation ruined beyond repair? Did they make back the money they put in? This ended too soon!
This is another one with some really great sets! I found myself paying as much attention to them as I was to the story. Lots of great shots I could use as desktop wallpaper.
I'm only on ep. 12, so I don't know who she ends up with, but this series is giving me second lead syndrome like I haven't had in YEARS. The age difference did jump out at me, and is kinda gross to watch (like someone else said, the age difference is physically obvious) but the fact that he seems uncomfortable with her advances and *she* is the one pursuing him, is really honestly kind of refreshing. She's got a crush on her mentor, and that feels very realistic.
I don't think you need to have an interest in makeup to enjoy this. It's about the relationships, it just takes place in a beauty salon. There are lots of side stories, and the characters have some background. All the tropes are there. A+ kdrama.
That first episode had a lot to unpack. It could have been a whole series itself. I kind of found myself wishing they'd saved some of it reveal as flashbacks toward the end. But I hope they at least slow down the pace a little bit.
Wow this was great! Just read it's a remake, I'll have to watch the original. Jeon Yeo Been really showed her skills. She was believable in both roles. I was glad to see that the two main leads got together even after the timeline was reset. But what of the second leads? Did In Kyu and Min Ju get together?
