WOW! What an opening to ep. 15, huh? I was clapping and cheering right along with the women in the cafe! What was really cool was that I could see Lee Sang Sook in Hong Soo Hyun's performance. Like in that moment it was really easy to believe they were mother and daughter. I don't know if they naturally have similar acting styles and all the credit goes to the person who did the casting, or if they matched their acting to each other throughout the series. But they make a really believable mother-daughter pair. Same with Jeong Bo Seok and Choi Dae Chul.
I was a little worried last week that things were going to resolve too easily. But the writer's really going to give us our 20 episodes worth, isn't she! Fantastic! I don't wanna jinx it with five more episodes left to go, but this might be the best series I've seen in years!
It'll be interesting to see if Geum A gives NC and ES a happy ending, now that she's found her way back to Dae Geun, or if he'll talk her into going back home. How could he get past what her father did to him?
First, why are all the reviews on mydramalist only ever written by people who hate the show? This site needs a policy to put negative reviews at the bottom, or let me sort by rating. For the record, I'm only about 15 minutes into the first episode. It could be bad. But when I'm trying to figure out whether I should watch a show or not, just having a bunch of people sh*t all over it doesn't help, especially when it's pretty clear they just don't like the genre as a whole.
Second, was this really first released in 2021? Kim Young Ok looks younger here than she has in any other drama I've seen her in! Seriously, every time I've watched her in the last couple of years, I've worried each drama would be her last. But here she looks like she's still got a good 20 years left in her. I guess she's just that good!
I guess people don't enjoy daily dramas anymore :( Since they're longer and naturally stretch things out.
I LOOOOOVE a good 100 episode daily drama. And I've been known to enjoy a really bad 100 episode daily drama. Is this one good? I see lots of comments that it's boring. That's worse than bad. Wondering if I should watch. As long as it's not boring.
Favorite Parts- EK going out of her way to look and find the same bunny for Mi Poong. To me that itself is very…
Yes! Every single character in this series, even the smallest side role, adds something to this drama. Loved the banter, too! I've only seen Jeong Bo Seok play strait-laced characters. He's doing a great job with this role. I'm waiting now for Lee Byung Joon 's appearance. He'd usually play this type of womanizer. He's on the cast page, is he really in the drama?
OMG, I KNEW IT!!! That ending was perfect! As soon as she yelled taxi I knew who was going to be in it! Loved everything about ep. 12! NC couldn't just hide in the bathroom 'cause EK was already there. BD running into her ex (why isn't he listed on the cast and crew page?) at the party. This episode was so good that one hour felt like three! So much fabulousness packed into it!
At this point I think he's got two options: 1. be a good-looking middle-aged man, or 2. look like a middle-aged man whose toupee slid down over his forehead. XD
