Cho Na

Weak Hero Class 1 (2022) is already included in my last year's article: 😊
https://kisskh.at/article/wrap-up-top-2022-dramas-on-mdl-by-country-and-genre

Lol, probably because it's PPL, so they already made a contract with the sponsor for 21 days of advertisement.

I used mostly Top Ranked, because generally the searches generate the same results as Top Rated. Top Ranked dramas according to MDL's FAQ: "are ranked using a complex algorithm that takes into account several factors including how many people added the drama to their list, the ratings given by users, the number of comments and recommendations, and reviews from viewers." So we can say besides the highest rating also how popular are the dramas on MDL. For my article, if Top Ranked resulted in dramas with ratings below 8.0 (for example the top ranked Filipino dramas are BLs but they're all below 8.0), I picked the Top Rated instead.

#7 and here we are, many are still waiting for "Castle in the Time" to be subbed in Eng, tho it's released, lol.

生日快乐 宁哥!!! I saw his video with birthday wishes from his Chinese fans, so cute.
I missed his voice cos now he does more acting than singing OSTs!
Note: that pfp needs to be changed (darn approval staff, lol!). He's more handsome than that pic.

Wow... just curious... you never tried dramas from other countries? I can understand if you're Korean or fluent in the language. Subtitles always give me a headache, lol.

I couldn't help but took a peek into your PTW list... that's not long! LOL... I made a custom PTW list started 2020 and I had 300+ titles and they're all completed dramas. It took me 4 years to clear it up. I saw other MDLers have even 1000s. I refuse to be recommended, but making articles like this help me to look for dramas I want to watch if I have none to watch in a day.

Wow... you've watched Kdramas for 12 years. I've started watching Asian dramas in mid-2019, so for only 4 years. Where did the industry head to? The main thing I don't like in Kdramas they always include school bullying to the 'mafia' level, not only in youth-focused but also if there is any youth subplot. See none or way less savage in other country's productions.

I don't get it why MDL divided Death Game into 2 parts, the drama has only 8 episodes lol. I always considered it as started in 2023 and ended in 2024. So, if I make another article like this in 2025 for the top 2024s, we'll see if Death's Game will manage to make it to the top next year, either by country or by genre. The year is still young.

Will you still be on MDL to see if it will come thru or not? 😉😉😉

Enigma... let's hope the sequel won't disappoint. I have doubt about Toey. But I don't think it will end in the sequel, but there will be another follow-up. Cos what happened to the preview after S1 ended (with Bright and Namtan)?

You've just started watching Asian dramas last year? Congrats, you have fallen into the rabbit hole of Asian dramaland, lol! Can't come back, you're just going deeper. What is your first drama?

I like We Go Fast On Trust, too! I wished they have a final race!

The fourth installment is rated lower than the previous three. Is that because the main actor and main actress changed? I don't watch them so I don't know the comparison/contrast.

No. As I wrote in the introduction, the results are based on what majority of MDLers rated. If my likes/opinion, they're all would be dramas I watched. I just ran the advanced search on MDL using advanced filter. You can do it too: Explore > Top Shows > and on the right column there are several filters for Advanced Search.
AJTL has political genre (see the drama page)

If both of them are dead, there is a third person/lookalike? Unless with her BD (Bipolar Disorder) she hallucinates the whole plot that we're watching, lol.

Your last paragraph is an interesting theory. But is the twin really dead or they faked it?

I agree with you, cos every time I watch this drama I got a headache, literally. Not about her acting or being freaked out, but that many unknown thrown to us to think about.

Ep 10: If Qian Heng didn't mention it... I don't realize that Megatron really does look like Cheng Yao, LOL!

Dunno, it's in the genre. I also watched SOKP and I agreed SOKP is more political than AJTL. I noticed that after ended, AJTL's rating had fluctuated between 8.7 and 8.8. The rating of 8.8 was recorded in the end of the year 2023. I gotta stopped recording somewhere, right?. So the rating in this article is not wrong.

If you dislike spoilers, better avoid the drama's comment sections, lol. Especially right after it ended (unless you wanna know the ending). After became a watcher who watches currently airing dramas, people were very enthusiastic with every episode aired so forgot to click that spoiler button. I could say I was also guilty for it, lol.
