The ending scene of Ep 14 is shocking, and here's what I think (let's see if my guess is true tomorrow!):
Lady Park orchestrated the switches. Upon finding out that her own daughter ditched the wedding, she forced Soon Deok to become the stand-in bride. For temporary, since the public doesn't know what Ye Jin looks like anyway, and the Park family won't be disgraced because of the runaway bride. Later when Ye Jin is found the bride will switch back. That's the only reason as of how Soon Deok agreed to be the stand-in bride, but she thinks the groom was Lee Shi Yeol (Ye Jin's arranged groom)
As for Jung Woo, it's also Lady Park's plan. In the preview of Ep 15, there is a meeting between Lady Park and Jung Woo, and Jung Woo asks her "Will it really be alright?" It seems like at this time Jung Woo is already granted annulment, which means he can remarry. Lady Park asks him to be a stand-in for Ye Jin's groom without Jung Woo knowing the bride is Soon Deok.
Now we don't know yet what happened to Shi Yeol, since the one he likes, Doo Ri, actually is marrying her matchmade groom in that scene. Did he run away, kidnapped, or whatever happened? Also, we don't know if Lady Park schemes to kill/hurt Soon Deok and Jung Woo or not. But definitely, it's not Lady Park's sincere intent to marry off Jung Woo and Sook Deok. She knows her daughter-in-law no longer wants to follow her and that Soon Deok knows Lady Park killed her own husband and brother. Soon Deok needs to be silenced. Lady Park also suggested the Queen request the King to grant Jung Woo's annulment petition.
We also see in the preview, that Jung Woo asked Soon Deok to run away after the wedding. Definitely, they found out that Lady Park is up to no good with the switches.
Marital bliss? Not quite sure what's going on but I hope this union will be blessed. There are still a lot of…
I doubt it. From what I saw Lady Park is ready to die to execute her plan. She gave the Park household keys to Soon Deok and proclaimed Soon Deok as the manager of the household, tho Soon Deok said Lady Park was still young. She also asked Soon Deok to take care of her daughter and grandson. She gave Ye Jin her precious Book of War as the last wedding gift and rushed Ye Jin to marry while still mourning for the father. She also asked the Queen to ask the King to grant Jung Woo's annulment petition so he would help the Crown Prince. All are like foreshadowing her death. She probably will commit suicide if she is found orchestrating the murders of her husband and brother and other crimes she committed.
Idk if they are a couple, but both actors were in tiger and crane. But I heard that the plot is a bit iffy.
You meant He Lan Dou and Chen You Wei? Her character is a villain/antagonist. His character is a protagonist, together with the main squad (Jiang Long, Zhang Ling He, and Wang Yu Wen's characters). No close relationship, they're enemies.

I know... I watched it and was angry by it. Same as this drama, they butchered most of the characters in the end. He Lan Dou's character there is bad, they don't show a character depth and she appeared stiff the whole drama, a 2-dimensional character. Chen You Wei's character is lovable in that drama, same as here, but they killed his character, too.
Since you haven't watched Tiger and Crane, you've saved your time. Not recommended.
We look forward for upcoming drama A Journey To Glow same Screen writer of A Journey to Love.
I thought you were just joking when you mentioned the title. Seriously??? So I looked it up and it's a fact. Unless the main actor is the C actor whom I am a stan of, I think I won't watch this screenwriter's next drama. Enough for one traumatic experience of her works. A Journey to Love becomes A Journey to Death A Journey To Glow will become A Journey To Ashes???
Yang Ying has had several men in her life, but she and Yuan Lu are soulmates...
I want to see He Lan Dou and Chen You Wei paired up as the main couple in a future Cdrama, then Yang Ying and Yuan Lu's promise for their next life in Ep 36 comes true...
I see. Thanks for explaining. I was really puzzled why that scene was removed as it’s significant pivot turn…
Ikr... before that they were still fighting and hating each other and then during agreement they 'suddenly' cooled off. I'm very curious what is their convo during the deleted scene, cos I don't read the novel.
the teacher is hot but he has a attitude problem. is he the second lead?
He is Jiang Bo and yeah, he probably will be some kinda of SML or at least will make Qi Lian jealous. But I'm sus he might have a family relationship with Jiang Xiao Yuan in the other world since they share the same surname Jiang (江).
I read about the deleted scene and watched the clip of Xiao Yuan jumping into the water after arguing with Qi Lian following the school reunion. I guessed that the censorship removed that scene because they didn't want to give bad ideas to girls (aka young Chinese female viewers) jumping into the water after arguing or being humiliated, which might lead to committing suicide.
I feel bad for Liu Hao Cun jumping into the cold water in the middle of winter shooting, only for that scene to be cut. I hope that was just one time take...
Ep 33: "Ruyi, I don't know if what I did was right or wrong, but I'm certain I like this feeling." And then all the flashbacks of Yang Ying's life... OMG... I actually cried with tears of pride One of the best character growth I watched in dramaland!!!
I only saw Liu Hao Cun in Ride On but didn't notice her outstanding performance (Jackie Chan outshined everyone, lol). But her acting was SO good in this drama I actually shed tears when she cried, especially Ep 7 and 8 when Jiang Xiao Yuan eating porridge slowly in anger while glaring at Qi Lian.

Lol, Soon Deok challenges the noble idiocy trope.
Note: I NEVER skip the interview parts, sometimes even replay them. The interviews are funny.
