Pretty much. But I couldn't stand vertical dramas. The sub is atrocious, and the sound is horrible. At least this one has better directing and production value. You can just watch it for the visuals.

In Korean, "makjang" (막장) refers to a narrative style in television dramas that features extremely exaggerated, unrealistic, and often absurd plot lines, filled with outrageous events, morally questionable behaviors, and high levels of melodrama to keep audiences hooked.

Title Return of the Queen
is this drama good ?
It depends. If you're in the mood for makjang a la China, you'll be entertained. Imo, this is a visual-driven drama, not necessarily a plot or a character-driven drama. A lot of pretty stuff in this drama, the cinematography, the costumes and makeup, ML and FL's looks and chemistry, even many OSTs unlike other Cdramas. Just don't watch with your brain.

Title Return of the Queen
On second episode and you can definitely tell ML already feels things for FL. I guess it’s not for everyone.
I haven't watched it: Love at first sight, or childhood connection?

Title The Sun in the Dark
Honestly this is quite weak. FL says she wants to kill ML because he KILLED HER MOTHER but never does when she…
Did he really kill her mother? I haven't watched it.

Title Dear X Spoiler
She gets engaged in the show later on.
Thanks. I saw her fiancé's name in the cast list: Moon Do Hyeok. I thought she got engaged to ML or SML.

Title The Journey of Legend
I need to google the "salted fish" idiom. Do you mean his character in MLC?Also look forward to his drama.
No, the other salted fish in the other drama I meant is Liao Tingyan in When Destiny Brings the Demon.
