Just finished ep.27 extra.. lol young emperor has finally met his destined one☺️😊…This drama had a good…
That scene is cute but cringey at the same time. How many years is their age gap? 14, 16, or more? The former crown prince thought she would born 10 months after his father the late emperor made the parents' engagement official, lol. Not many years later. If the girl inherits the same rebellious streak as her mother, she will try to get out of the engagement at all costs. Rong Yu is only 2 years older than Jiu Ling and she didn't want to marry him, let alone this huge age gap lmao.
Sorry for the late reply. MDL website crashed. It's not about a bad ending. As I replied to your original post somewhere, I was already bracing for the worst ending. In fact, in the extra episode Ep 27, the couple reunited. It's an HE, tho I don't understand why they don't insert it in the main drama episodes.
Now, why I blacklist the screenwriter: As you know this is an original screenplay. The screenwriter has the freedom to create his/her own story as long as it complies with NRTA requirements. That being said, IMO, the screenwriter put too much into a drama that is only 26 episodes. I don't know how many episodes they planned in the beginning. At first, I thought it was bad editing because of that many cuts. But, if the screenwriter didn't put too many subplots into the script, we wouldn't see cuts and scenes too short to understand. For example, the screenwriter put extra subplots after 2/3 of the drama with a guy who suddenly loves Jiu Ling out of nowhere, but so deeply he would die for her. Or that crazy princess who drools over Rong Yu (your reply to my post agreeing on the subject of the married MLs). Those two subplots don't need to be in the drama, because the main story/romance itself is already heavy with the heartwrenching romance and revenge.
I'll give you a metaphor. Someone cooked you a steak meal. The steak is well-prepared and delicious (the romance). The person included vegetables to balance the meat (the He and Rong family background, the revenge). Then the person also added steak sauce/gravy that is too thick/fatty/sweet/spicy to your liking (unnecessary scenes, characters, subplots). The gravy ruins such a good steak.
Yes, i toraaly agre with you. I am looking for ways to forgot this drama.
Watch other dramas. If you don't have much time, there are quite decent short-length Cdramas with good ending. Many of them with great chemistry and steamy kissing scenes, then you'll understand where babies come from. 😂😂😂 Unlike this drama, you have to hunt down the deleted bed scene to accept how they end up with a daughter, lmao!
I haven’t watch the extra ending episode yet… do you know where to watch raw? My current site seems crush
By this time I replied your comment, you probably already watched the extra ep. Now let's see if they'll sub it, cos I want to know what Rong Yu said to Jiu Ling.
Honestly, I do not understand the obsession with married men
Ikr... I hate this stupid trope in costume Cdramas. When will they leave married MLs alone, when they are 50 with 5 kids??? 🤦🤦🤦 This is the third 2023 Cdrama I watched with crazy princesses drooling over the married Male Leads. In one drama, they even torture the FL by crushing her fingers cos she doesn't want to give up her husband (ML). In the other drama, they threatened to punish the ML's whole army (he's a general) if he refuses the imperial marriage edict. Now, when I watch a costume drama where ML and FL get married early and there is a princess character in the cast list, my stomach always churns.
I created an account just to say this. But I find it quite funny how the song prince and his sister beat up HJL…
That comes out of the blue, like we're confused that he actually likes her? Where's that come from? The characterization for some supporting characters are underwhelming imo.
Huntington disease has no cured. So no, in the novel she was not cured.
Sorry, I have no knowledge of the disease. I thought so, but the synopsis says "In a battle against death, Gu Yun Zheng will race against fate and time to try and save her from this incurable disease." so I assumed he found a cure for her. So will she die in the end?
Even though it's a short series drama, it's really interesting. I really like the interaction of the two leads.…
I found the synopsis from Douban. But MDL doesn't accept Google-translated synopsis, unfortunately, only if it's already in English and posted somewhere else. I posted it above so anyone can read it.
Synopsis from Douban, Google translated: Stuntman Su Xiaoxiao (Ke Ying) deliberately gets close to the movie star Fang Min (Song Zhao Yi) to get rid of Fei Mingxuan (Chen Xin Hai), trying to find evidence of his mistakes to force him to leave, and staging a classic wrong love with him. Little did they know that this was a conspiracy by Su Xiao Xiao’s boyfriend Tang Song (Li Bo Yan). It turns out that Tang Song had been wandering between Su Xiaoxiao and Fang Min, deceiving the two women's feelings, intending to use Su Xiao Xiao to bring down Fei Ming Xuan, and a 'trick within a trick' was secretly staged. With the help of Fei Ming Xuan, Su Xiao Xiao recognized the true face of Tang Song and revealed his conspiracy... Fake drama and true love finally found their own palette in this drama.
