In fact, he admires her geology works in the past. Xiu Lun hints a few times about her telling the truth and she wants too, but the greedy manager Fang Jie told her not to tell the truth for tons of reasons but primarily for her twin sister's sake... So, Ji Shi doesn't tell Xiu Lun her identity. Imo, the manager is greedy and just wants to keep getting money from the actress's popularity, since they 'kidnapped' Ji Shi!
