I suspect the same as you did (Jekyll-Hyde personality disorder as you said). I thought that the dad has a multi-personality disorder when in Ep 15 the drama reveals him as the killer and he hits ML, he doesn't wear glasses. I thought he looks like a completely different person.

Can we have a spin-off of the romance between the 1987 Soon Ae and Hee Sub??? They are so cuuute... 😊😊😊

Perhaps they can fix the killer... he doesn't seem have a killer gene. His dad, his son, and his grandson... they all turn out to have good characters and not psychos.

IMO, to make things perfect like they wanted, they should go back in time when they can fix the killer's life, perhaps during the killer's high school years in the village, ML becomes the teacher and FL the classmate, so the killer wouldn't develop motivation and plans to kill people...

I think because the last one you mentioned is created to be some kind of internal villain, but the first three are supposed to be heroes in this drama. We sometimes treat the protagonist characters harsher than the villains, as in the end we want them to be our heroes, characters we can root for. 😊

People are angry with the character Cha Eun Jae, not the actress Lee Sung Kyung. Although I could say she did a great job in Call It Love.

I think what you said about the Weibo poster's suggestion (parallel world) is more plausible. So the Empress tweaked the time and created two worlds. The present one is 'six months later' as the drama said, with Kitchen Goddess as the new ruler and united 3 realms. And the parallel world with other characters who died before are still alive.

So the couple is in their mortal bodies then when they die, they'll reincarnate back as heavenly beings, I think...

I'm still sad tho, it means Mu Nan and Yi Er don't get their HE. They never meet either in real-time or parallel time.
