I haven't watched it since Republican dramas tend to be SE so I waited till the end. But I peeked on the ending... seems they're both miraculously alive despite of lots of blood from the gunshots. Even if his men saved them they should be together not separated and meet again 2 years later. That's why I thought she might be amnesiac... again... with scarce memories of the guy. So it's a forced HE for me. They made it HE to please viewers, imo.
I just realized Nune and Joss were in another drama: Game Rak Ao Keun. Since they collaborated before as romantic partners, we can expect good chemistry between them, right?

Si Le, too, isn't her character straightforward and open??? She should've known by now that her husband is quiet and reticent, so she should ask him about the ex right away. But when he wants to explain to her about the ex, she brushes him off and spends time with her friends drinking instead. Yeah, Luo Qi fills Si Le's in about Xi Chen, but still, the most important fact to know is: what the ex's position is in her husband's heart now.
Back to Hao Yu... after knowing that his wife and Luo Qi went drinking and got drunk together, he should've put an effort to clarify Xi Chen to his wife ASAP, since Luo Qi, who has a crush on him in the past. might give his wife wrong or incomplete info about his past relationship.
