I hope they will make this kind of show again, Season 2 or something like that. Pairing two actors from different countries who don't know each other and don't speak the other person's language. Yet they can communicate to work together because of their love for their fans and passion for adventure/travel. The places showcased are very beautiful and their fans are adorable. I understand some challenges were obviously staged so they could finally figure out the clues to find their fans, they were all entertaining nonetheless because of the variety of games. And even if Seung Gi and Jasper acted out their reactions etc, they did so naturally and professionally. They sincerely enjoyed being in the show!

Thanks! I guessed the first one, too. But since I only understand a little Chinese I probably missed it in the convo somewhere along the drama, that's why I asked. I just decided to watch it raw since I don't usually have patience waiting for the sub ☺️.

Ep 12: anyone knows the significance of her moving the shop nameplate for the sun to shine on the yellow flower?

Ikr... I see a lot of drama scenes with falling autumn leaves or flower petals, but never seen the one with falling bamboo leaves.

I agree with you. Initially, I thought the man she has looked for was Yuan Lang or someone else. Then positioning Yu Xuan as a 'Second Male Lead' who will compete with Ji Man's long-time crush is more entertaining to watch, and for Ji Man to realize the difference between having a crush and loving someone.

ikr... now we probably will be fed with Ning Yu Xuan's misunderstanding about the man Ji Man's looked for. It took 21 episodes that finally they confess to each other, maybe it will take the rest of the episodes to clear up his misunderstanding, hahaha. Also, Ji Man's dad may not want his daughter to marry Yu Xuan.

All along, I also thought the man she has looked for was Yuan Lang. But when you watched the latest (Ep 22) you'll know what I meant in my first post. Won't spoil you, just watch it. 😉

Don't take it seriously... because of the body-swap theme: in the end, it's only the main character's dream... 😉

Kuga Ichiro (Sano Hayato) is a struggling manga artist. After the death of his father, he spends his days drawing manga to support his younger sister Machi (Koyama Sae) and younger brother Fumio (Ishizuka Rikuto). One day, a beautiful and mysterious lady Goshiki Shiori (Yagi Rikako) appears and becomes Ichiro’s temporary assistant because she admires his manga. With her help, Ichiro escapes a last-minute deadline crisis, but when Ichiro notices a thorn-like object protruding from Shiori’s body while she was asleep, he touches it and the work room transforms into outer space! She then tells him that she’s the royal princess of a certain island, and that by touching her thorn, he has entered into a marriage contract with her.

It's explained above by LC: "Tanman is someone who will be your substitute or do something in your place. Tan comes from the Thai word แทน (thaaen) pronounced "tan" which means to substitute, replace."

Storywise unrelated. Only both dramas are adapted from novels written by the same author Piyaphon Sakkasem.

I'm not disappointed, but I agree with you Zheng Ye Cheng doesn't look right to be the Chang Yuan. He looks too soft/gentle/nice. Shouldn't a dragon look scary and mean?

I'm surprised too with He Yuan Ting and the consort. I thought Chinese dramas make characters who do bad stuff get punishments either in prison, death, or anything else, to pass the review. Even if they're the main characters. In the last episode I feel like watching a Thai drama with tons of forgiveness.

Cannot tell since it's only Ep 2. They are not a couple yet. She just lost her father and he still goofs around. But they're long-time acquaintances, now still more like a brother-sister relationship, although his aunt says she wants him to marry FL. She's engaged to his brother.
