The reason I asked cos his eyes become black before she comes in. Every time I see a character's eyes become black in dramas is a sign he's possessed. Twice happen, first when he's by her bedside and dreams meeting the evil spirit, then he lies to her about his dream. The second time is in the last scene. She challenges him to look at her straight to the eyes and tell her he doesn't love her. Which he did, in the Ep 31 preview, so she runs out crying. So I assume somehow the evil god possesses him. If someone lies and it's not habitual liar, usually the person doesn't want to look at the eyes.

I think the threat is more about pressure in the entertainment industry, his career. How much he wants to achieve or sacrifice to become famous versus his love.
It depends what are you looking for. This is a romcom, a sweet story about two people falling in love. But they have layers in their life we get to see being unravel episode by episode, also work pressure. Since it's only 10 episodes, just by trying Episode 1 you'll know since it's not draggy or slow start.
