I agree with your comment regarding MDL population is young generation. Most of the older actors also prefer serious acting roles and generally they're non-romance. When I checked the upcoming projects of these actors in the list, I also notice on average their upcoming dramas/movies have shifted to serious ones.

I'm like you, I watch more Cdramas than Kdramas. I started the dramaland in the mid 2019 with Kmovies and Kdramas, but I quickly branched out to other countries. In 2020 and 2021 I challenged myself to watch popular Kdramas that are in MDL list, but so overwhelmed with new dramas already ;D

I didn't put all dramas/movies in which the actors acted in or the article would've been super long and would be rejected by the editors, lol. I only put the ones they got official awards from, following the original idea from the female version's writer. He was nominated for some awards in SBS Drama Awards for Suspicious Partner, but didn't win. He got awards from Soompi tho, for the Best Kiss award with his co-actress Nam Ji Hyun.

I'm actually curious about Pachinko. Glad I caught that since technically it's not Korean made, I found it while reading comments in his profile page. Yeah, I double checked for other actors who currently doesn't have upcoming dramas too.
I actually listed the dramas or movies in which respective actors received awards in, not all their dramas or movies. Sometimes when I listed them I wondered why they didn't win in such and such dramas, also the other way around ;D
Yeah, listing their future dramas personally help me to find out which ones and anticipate some of them.
