Yes, I agree with you that the story is not difficult to follow. That's probably the reason I wrote a CW article on this so readers who are not used to watch historical Cdrama will give it a try. For myself, I found sometimes difficult to write a recap or CW articles on historical or costume Cdramas because the stories are complicated (many lives, several arcs, etc)

Initially I wanted to ask you to co-write with me for this, since we had collaborated together for The Long Ballad and The Imperial Coroner. Besides, you're more an expert in Chistorical than me. No, I mean I haven't seen his name in the cast list yet. It doesn't mean he won't be there. The cast is not completed yet and he's just a supporting character there, so they will add supporting characters later. Regarding your comment "Luoyang IMO isn't quite as strong concept or script-wise", I was just wondering is that because this is an unpublished novel of Ma Bo Yong? I mean he might already have plot line but not details, so the scriptwriter took over the dialogues, so we got the repeated "Erlang" thing, lol. I saw her work in The Eight. Although the plot has a potential to be great, as several groups of underworld society band together for a mission, unfortunately the script is mediocre.
