wait... wait... but this is not xianxia tho, it's historical. It's not wuxia like Young Blood. But if you like the type of mystery/investigation, you'll definitely like this. This drama will end on 30th December, so you can soon binge it. The sub is on time ;D

True the fighting scenes are the best in my opinion, though this is not necessary a wuxia or an action drama. Their pick on actors with dancer backgrounds are a great decision, at least that was the producer said ;D

I agree with your recommendation that this drama is good for newcomers to Chinese period dramas. At least newcomers don't have to memorize all those names for one character and remember the many life times story lines, lol.

This drama used two type of recordings: life-recording with the original actor's voices (especially the main characters) and dubbed-recording, still with them not by voice actors. However, I gave you a warning (that's why I put this as a spoiler), the subbing can be confusing, though it's official subbing from the network. For several first episodes the names are translated in one way, then for several next episodes the names changed, then back to the first translation. I give you an example. In the several first episodes, the translation for the main character's names are Er Lang (for SML) and Yue Hua (for FL). Then later they translated as Hong Yi and Madam Wu, although you hear they still say "Er Lang" and "Yue Hua" in the drama. This too changed with Unwelcome Well to Ghetto Place then back to Unwelcome Well. It seems in the middle they changed the translator. That's why just remember the main names, lol.
The voice dubbing is a main problem for Cdramas. But after I heard some explanations from AvenueX and Marcus Sim, they make sense and I can tolerate more with dubbing in Cdramas because it's indeed complicated. If you've never heard about the explanations from those 2 Youtubers I will put the links that explain it ;D

Really??? I didn't know that... No wonder about two weeks ago Wang Yi Bo is hired to be "Luoyang Cultural Tourism Image Ambassador" by the City of Luoyang. I thought it was something to do with the drama. At that time I thought: why him why not the others? Now I know because he was born there, hahaha. He is also picked as one of the Beijing Winter Olympic ambassadors and sang the olympic theme song. It seems this time period is a good time for him ;D

I actually prefer to be the co-writer or second writer, too, either in normal situation or this buggy situation. So if before or by the time you're ready with your google doc they fixed the bug, then you can easily claim your article as the main writer, and show an editor your google doc.

IMO Love Shuffle is the perfect multi couples romcom, cos I couldn't guess for some couples. The plot perfectly done! Never seen a drama like that anymore, haha!

I think so, in fact all three main actors did a great job playing their characters. At least that was also what the producer thinks ;D. I actually spent some timelooking for the link I read the other day, in which they interviewed the producer who chose WYB to play Bai Li Hong Yi character before The Untamed was released. But that post is buried under tons of hundreds others in the comment section, I can't find it anymore. The producer also said he's satisfied with chosing Song Qian and Huang Xuan,

which one? I mostly watched comedy+crime, then romance+crime. I think I rarely or even never watched the pure crime. That's why I compiled this list, it's also for my reference ;D

Is the American version good? I haven't watched both actually.
