You must have read the short Netflix synopsis, as I did, too. My expectation after reading it, the romance is an enemies-to-lovers trope. So the ML will hate FL's fam first, then fall for FL. But it turns out lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers trope. Initially, ML wanted to be a physician and had a heart for people, so naturally, he's a nice guy. Making him a mean person straight after the massacre will be inconsistent with his nature.

There is no significant time jump, like one year later, or something like that. Probably, only at the end, but that's a big spoiler 😊.

Maybe it's a bug like the reply above. I watched it since I want to write a review article about it. What do you need to know?

Xia Xuan Zi better not be dead. I like him. He is an interesting villain. Unlike the other villains, so boring.

I was surprised when I checked the bio of the actor who played Xia Xuan Zi. He played the FL's little bro in Reborn! I rewatched a scene with him in Reborn, and I cannot find the resemblance between his character there and this drama!

I doubt he's dead, nor Xia Xuanzi. Jin Lun is the second male lead. They won't kill him halfway through the drama!

Omg, thank you so much! Xuanhuan dramas always fascinate me. However, with Ren Jialun's drama, I was kinda hesitated to start.

At least, Tian Jia Rui's character at the end is the happy one, though we don't know the name of this last character. After Ji Ling becomes Chi Wen, I missed the lively and cheerful Ji Ling.

Knowing this is Guo Jing Ming's drama, I'm very satisfied with the ending. 😊
