I love your pfp! ❤️

Lol... I don't remember the kissing scenes in the three dramas I mentioned tho... But they are experienced actors. Acting-wise, you won't be disappointed. Their chemistry are good, too.

Thai romance lakorn (BG) rarely have real kisses. I can recommend you "Twin Gambit", "My Sassy Wedding", and "Good Heavens! I'm a Goose not a Swan". All 2025. Haven't found a good 2026 lakorn romance yet. If you want to figure out what my three recommendations are about, you can read my review of them. On my site: https://chonawrites.com/category/country/thailand/

I think the ending of Ep 40 was just for the drama to pass the censorship. Y'know the authorities (NRTA) don't like reincarnation and stuff like that; they deem it as superstition. Also, I noticed in xianxia/xuanhan dramas, that it's rare for romance between human and non-human (demon, immortal, deity) ends with a wholesome HE, at least OE or subjective HE. So, I appreciate the special episode, though. I think the production company prepared two different endings to tackle the issue of passing censorship and still make the viewers happy.

Thank you so much for the encouragement! Yes, historical/fantasy Cdrama can be confusing. I remembered I had delayed watching them in the past because they were so confusing! I depended on the recaps written by some sites (now inactive or semi-active anymore) that really helped me to finish and understand those dramas. Now that I am already used to these kinds of genres, I write recaps to help others.

No, I don't have any time to create another list, mainly because I'm too busy writing my articles for my site (I'm recapping Veil of Shadows and Love Beyond the Grave right now, so I'm racing against time since they will finish this week.

Yes, I am aware with LYN new songs. Sorry for the delay, once I finishes with the two dramas, I will update his list.

Oh! I didn't know this was a short drama! Before airing, MDL didn't put the duration, so I thought it was a regular length, as usual, her dramas were. Thanks, I will check it out, as I usually check out every short drama, too.

For people who are watching it, how is the drama so far in plot/character/acting/visual? I'm way behind in watching these C-dramas nowadays... Still struggling to keep up with LBTG and VoS, haven't even started Rebirth, and now this drama dropped out of nowhere.

I agree with your statement " women take the bigger blow". When the YML case was still newer, FSQ had a supporting role in the Zhao Lu Si's hit drama Love Ambition, even as a love rival of the ML. Protest on FSQ didn't even shake LA, neither would shake VoS. People trying hard to fail this drama.

Oh, all I know is that she had an aunt who forged the sword...
Thank you for the reply! I didn't start when the drama started airing... so I might have missed that post!
Feng Yi is so sickly... I hope the lineage doesn't end with him!

I tried hard to remember Ding Jia Wen's character in Fated Hearts... but alas, all I remember, besides ML and FL, is the crazy emperor! He's so memorable! 😂😂😂

His gifts are not authentic, unlike Duan Xu's. Giving her fireworks? Nah... probably she had seen 400+ fireworks (at least once a year) during her lifetime already.

Anyone know why Feng Yi calls her Grand Ancestor?

I hope Simu and Duan Xu meet again soon. They are in the same city. Also, the temple that his sister prays at is where Feng Yi works and Simu temporary stay.

The temple where the sister prays in Ep 25 looks the same as the place where Feng Yi welcomed Simu. So Feng Yi is the "prophet"?

Thank you. Yes I missed writing on MDL. But what to say, they killed writers' motivation and talents... Now I just write on my own website.

But it is 40 episodes, tho.

Unfortunately, the Admin pushes more on news articles and topics that draw traffic; the majority are written by their paid writers.

The synopsis is wrong, completely different names etc.
This is the translation of the synopsis from MangoTV, the platform for this drama:

It tells the story of Ye Zhimei, the heiress of Chenghai Group, who, along with her newlywed husband Wu Xi, encounters an accident while diving, resulting in her going blind from hitting a reef and Wu Xi going missing. After waking up, a stranger named Zhou Xubai impersonated Wu He to take care of her and even induced her to sign Wu He's death certificate application, with everyone involved in the conspiracy. After Ye Zhi Mei's vision recovered, she noticed something was off. She attempted to escape multiple times but was saved by Zhou Xu Bai at the cost of his life, leaving her in a fog about his true identity.
