Oh I understand now... yeah I wish Taiwan revives their movie/drama industry to compete with China, so their actors don't have to work in China. Taiwanese directors also make Chinese dramas/movies. Taiwanese older dramas are fun to watch. The chemistry between the leads are amazing with real kisses. They still make movies/dramas but are rarely subbed. Fan subber are busy subbing Chinese dramas/movies. A lot of times I put their dramas/movies in my Waiting for Sub list for a long time never subbed so I took them off my list.

lol yeah I think probably because the original novel setting is military so the plot change was not done smoothly. I was trying to remember who Wasa is but I think I remember. haha I figured... what I meant with the same set up is in both dramas the leads are already couples in the past but got separated for some reason then both dramas are in the present with flashbacks to the past and the audience trying to figure out what actually happened by connecting past and present. In this drama the secret is more mystery/suspense

Yes you are right! It's a good premise, mafia boss' daughter who fangirling a movie star but supposedly lives under the radar meets him who supposedly lives in the spotlight. Bad executions though the gangsters are funny. Not sure why it flops, but I doubt it will have S2 cos usually producers will make S2 if S1 is a success
