Oh really? Second season? Where in Douban did you find it? I checked the drama page there is no talk about it in Comment section (usually some MDLers who find out from raw sources will post on second seasons). When recapping the 2020 year, AvenueX expressed her wish for AD to have a season 2 as well. Yeah, I hope too they will keep the same people, but you already know with C-dramas they change many things even the main leads sometimes :(

Wow... I just finished watching it. I'm familiar with AvenueX only just a few months ago so of course I didn't see that video. I am aware with the framing but I thought it was the subbing/reproducing process covered the upper part. I also aware that the drama is kinda low budget, compare with The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty for example. The cinematography in the fighting parts in AD were really good though. Thanks for sharing the link, cos as usual if a story is odd we blame the scriptwriter in every drama no matter what country is. I'm pretty sure the writers want to work with other director for S2, even already have continuation of the story. It's a matter of which company will pick it up ;D
