Yeah I watched it a few days ago though I don't understand Cantonese, lol. No pretty faces and not familiar with the whole cast, but the acting is natural, great friendship and practice/match, and it tells about the background stories of the coach and players. I like/understand volleyball game so it helps a lot ;D

Thanks for the recommendation! Young Blood (2019) has been in my PTW list but since my goal last year was watching as many as 2020 releases, dramas 2019 and older got somewhat neglected, lol. Sadly I fell asleep on TMN so I dropped it.

since you already watched it, I have a question: do we have to watch the other dramas related to it first? (The Grave Chronicles series) I tried it and watched The Mystic Nine (it's supposed to start with this one if you want to watch chronologically) but I fell asleep so I dropped it, lol.

Do you understand Cantonese by any chance? If yes you may want to try We Are the Littles. It's a Hong Kong drama so it's in Cantonese with Mandarin sub.

If you liked Ancient Detective, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty is similar to AD. It has tons of investigation stuff but the difference is a bit political as the cases gradually involve to larger scope (this is not spoiler, it's in the synopsis). But not in annoying way cos I hate dramas with political intrigues ;D

Yes I haven't watched Ultimate Note yet, it's in my CW list somewhere. I think when I was writing this article, UN was not completely subbed yet as it finished on January 2 and I finished writing by the end of Dec. I only watched completed sub as one go. Definitely I will watch it for Joseph Zeng whom I watched in The Journey Across the Night. Actually WandereR and I wrote recap articles for both TJATN and Psych Hunter, just waiting to be published.

Probably you were not into watching historical/costume dramas, that's why. But once you venture into it and like it, you won't go back. Historical/costume dramas have their own charm that are not in modern dramas ;D

That's good! Many don't like her as she picked up roles in the past that lots of screaming/screeching lol. But I have solution for that: just lower up turn of the volume ;D.

Congratulation on watching your first ever Chinese drama! Usually first dramas give special experience no matter what they are. You still have more to watch tho, lol. There are still many great Cdramas out there, modern and historical/costume ;D

If you love friendship theme, Crossfire definitely has a strong one. That drama actually made me start writing articles cos I thought a mere review was not enough I took lots of screenshots, lol!

You meant at the 15th second in the trailer? I thought that was just because Tang San was using superpower. I really hope that Xiao Zhan won't be recast in S2 as JOHN DOE thought, they should just change his appearance. I read somewhere in these comments that they actually filmed both S1 and S2. Bruh it's too long to look down for the comment, they are too many already, lol.
