I was thinking of putting up the duos but then it will be too many. This segment already covers 9 and the other segment also 9. If I cover the duos too I ended up making another series, lol. I did cover Ancient Detective in my other segment (historical and supernatural) but for the whole group. I dropped In A Class of Her Own cos when I watched suddenly I missed the Korean gang (this was the remake of Sungkyunkwan Scandal, right?) and I ended up want to watch Song Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In again (IMO don't think the Chinese actors could match up SJK and YAI portraying their respective characters). I think Qing Qing Zi Jin (which I also covered in the other segment) is more interesting cos the ML is a bandit and no restrictions on female students so there is no that overused gender bender trope. You should watch at least The Bad Kids and The Long Night, they seem your favorite genre and both are short (12 episodes), also Cross Fire. That one caused me wrote my first article ;D I'm interested on Youkai Sharehouse. Is that similar to The School Nurse Files?
I nominate 'Lovely Us' for this list as well. No love triangles and no mean characters, just a great story.
is it draggy, though? the thing is with highschool/college Cdrama tends to drag. I have dropped some of them because of that. SS is only 8 episodes, HSBB 15, and ITMT 8. HSBB although it's Chinese but not draggy at all I was so surprised. Also it actually about the teacher. I love the actress since watching her at My Neighbour Can't Sleep.
You know it's an eclectic list when 'Go Ahead' is up there with 'I'm Tee'. :)
hahaha... lol. Yeah, I have a quite broad range of taste of dramas, not sure that's good or bad but one I know for sure it makes my PTW list bloated, lol. But I will just look over new dramas I watched last year in the theme of friendship and I know both GA and ITMT have them.

lol cos I watched it and I don't like her character either. I skipped her manipulative scenes. The second ML's mom is okay, there is a reason why she left ZQ and you will get to know the story behind her later on. Haha it's good then. I saw in dramas if the romance is the main theme in drama with sports, then the team/team member's stories it's like a filler (like in Skate into Love and My Unicorn Girl), also if there's love triangle can hurt the sportmanship/ friendship.

The death occurred in Ep 1, you don't see the surprise in the end. The story then unravels the mystery behind the death. So it's mixed flashbacks and present time ;D.

As someone who watch a lot of Cdramas (modern and historical) I hate how Chinese marketers change romantic drama names with either 'love' or 'romance' word for international market. Sounds like we (international viewers) are that dumb that we'll just automatically attract to the shows because of 'love' and 'romance' word in the titles. Eternal Love should use the original title: "Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms". Sounds poetic. The Eternal Love should be: "I Will Wait for Your Divorce". Sounds funny. ELOD should be: "The Pillow Book". Sounds intriguing. I like the Korean show's English titles are they are more catchy, and if you check their native titles have the similar meaning as English titles. Japanese native titles are quirky too.
