Thanks Amrita! Unfortunately, the MDLers who are not active here anymore won't get their articles known. Since I was suggested by Jojo to asked them for consent. I contacted 80+ writers and only 50+ replied. I don't think the rest didn't want to give consent, so they didn't reply. I think they are not active in MDL anymore.
In the final part, I tempted to actually just linking some article titles from these non=active writers, but not write about them. Some articles are very interesting and their ideas are unique. But I haven't decided how the final part will be like.

To write an article about an actor/actress, I suggest for you to watch their works. That's why it's better to write an article on someone who you are absolutely love. Of course you don't have to watch the whole drama, just the scenes with the person to get an idea what kind of role was played and to make screenshot/video. If you haven't I advise you to watch Fall in Love. There he played as the first Male Lead older brother. He was disabled and on a wheelchair (the drama posters don't show it). He played completely different personality than here, and his acting was really good, especially when his character experienced breakdown, as usually he is a reserved character.
I will also pm you on something.

Since you said you might end up writing a Miles Wei appreciation post instead, why don't you write an Ultra Fan Guide article on him? I just checked, and no article published about him yet. I know you're quite new in MDL and have never written an article before. But you can try, since you'll write on an actor whom you like anyways. I'm pretty sure personally you want to look for as many info on him as well. Check out some older articles on how people wrote about an actor or an actress, to get an idea. If you need some help about info on him, probably ask around here:

As for how to write an article in general, I can help you if needed. If you decided to write an article on him, please contact an editor to claim your idea, and also ask if an article on him is waiting in the queue to be published or not.

Where did you read the novel? Someone asked about it in the drama page. But actually I am more interested to read another Chinese novel where Miles Wei will play again as the Male Lead in Unforgettable Love (贺先生的恋恋不忘). So probably we should read the C-novel to get the idea about the story, so we can watch raw and don't have to wait for Eng sub lol. Since it will be in MangoTV again expect a delay in sub.

Same as you, I hope I will see more of Miles Wei's works as the first Male Lead in the future. Not as a SML or supporting character. IMHO, his look, facial expression, and acting is too good to be just a side character. We just have to wait for his upcoming drama Unforgettable Love, in which he would be the first ML again. They're still filming atm. By reading the synopsis and tags, I got a vibe that the story will be similar and so is his character. The main actress is also a cutie pie. That drama story even gets further, it seems like the couple has a child. The child is also adorable.

I feel you times two!!! First, actually I knew about this drama since premiere, but after many stressful days waiting for subs of airing dramas in the past, I was able to control myself to wait till it was completely subbed.
Second, I also had to fight temptation to re-watch this drama entirely for the second time when I was making screenshots for my article. I had to reminding myself: "hey, you can't re-watch this, you only need to look for the shot on X". Re-watching drama is a luxury for me. I just cannot afford it. I still have hundreds of dramas waiting to be watched!

I agree that you have searched for a long time. Nowadays romantic dramas are mixed with other elements. Production teams didn't want to make chill dramas like this, cos they were afraid watchers won't like it and think it's boring. So they added elements to make the drama 'different' like mystery, action, crime, etc etc

I was just thinking that must be the main keys that made this drama good without any addition of elements like other dramas tend to do, like action, suspense, mystery, melodrama, etc etc. I know Miles Wei acts well since I have seen him in other dramas, but Xu Ruo Han is a newcomer but she surprised me since this her first drama, second time acting after the movie Vanguard.

Yeah the cold man/warm woman cliché sometimes is not done right. Many times I noticed they cast a wrong actor to act as a cold man, and he didn't know how to play a cold character and ended up being stiff and emotionless. Then we say that his acting is bad.

- After reading the synopsis (which is likely taken from the novel). please clarify to me if anyone read the novel: is Lin XIan An the same as Shao Ming Ze? Since they both have past connection with Su Mu. If not, who is Lin Xian An (since in the cast list atm there is no LXA character)? Is he a past character who died? (please put a spoiler if you answer)
- I don't like the word 'fatal' in the synopsis
- From the broadcasting media I saw (DragonTV and ZJTV) I have a feeling that we won't see a fast sub or even being subbed, unless it will be picked up by fansubber. I hope I'm wrong !
