Haven't seen other versions, but looking at the genres/tags... the Japanese version is comedy and friendship. The Korean version is BL. And the Thai version is bromance? And why there is a romance if there is no female lead? I'm confused...

Hi Tia, there was an older Kdrama Because This is My First Life (2017) that has a very similar plot as PaC. In fact, the actresses (the Korean Jung So Min and the Chinese Xu Ruo Han look like each other, lol! Have you watched it?

I haven't watched Begin Again so I cannot comment if it's like, better, or worse than PaC. Where did you watch it? Was it completely subbed yet? It's in my On Hold list, as I only watch fully subbed dramas. Yes, he was also in DDYD but was he a supporting character there? I haven't watched DDYD, I only looked it up in the drama page.

I agree with you. As someone who 95%+ dramas watched were romance, I noticed it too and many times the ott sweetness can be boring that I even skipped the romantic parts lol. Not with this drama though, just perfect amount.

I remember about two weeks ago you commented on my MDL writers article regarding your plan to write an exploration article on the history of Japanese movies, and here it is! A very thorough research on an academical level! I am glad that your writing motivation is to preserve the info on "super early [Japanese] films were lost to either natural or man-made disasters." It's interesting to read and think that MDL can hold a "scholarly interest" as a source for research writers on Asian movies to go through our articles. Kudo and keep up the good work!
