Wow... you read the novel??? I usually don't have any privilege time to read novels of any drama unless I am curious of the ending of long dramas with sequels like Ever Night or Joy of Life. It's great to hear from you that the drama is better than the novel. Usually is the opposite, as the censorship may ruin the initial novel adaptation. Carmon's sub reminded me of Lan Lan and Productive Procrastination subs, all explaining cultural and language context as you said. I watched fully at the first time at Carmon's once they finished subbing. Second time partially in MangoTV for writing this article purpose. I'm glad someone stepped in to sub dramas like this gem ;D

I read that review that rated it 1.5. In fact, I always read reviews that are opposites the mainstream. In this case, since the drama is rate 8+, I read reviews of 7 and below rating. To each his/her own, no biggie ;D

I am glad that you actually read the article I linked on the 'quantum entanglement' term. At first, when I watched the drama, I thought that term was just thrown into the conversation, as both ML and his grandpa like to discuss science. So when I was writing this article and became curious about the term, I looked it up. I was pleasantly surprised that in reality is connected to romantic relationship!

oh I just realized your ID pic is of Wang Rui Chang, LOL. You should put the one when he's in silver hair (the grandfather role) in The Eternal Love! He looks exquisite there.
I think some negative reviews on Fall in Love just because it's draggy (what Cdrama is not draggy anyways?) or the FL's acting who was deemed stiff. But she played a cold FL role, so it's understandable.
Wow... I'm surprised... I don't remember the kissing scenes in FiL! How can that be??? lol

Sorry for the late reply, it was my bedtime (yes, I do sleep during sleeping hours ;D. Honestly the fansub is not as good as official subtitles (I watched them both), but they are fast subtitling new MangoTV dramas. Not a machine translation, since sometimes they explain some Chinese terminology. I think they are also subtitling two other Cdramas currently airing. If you are the type who watch dramas while they're currently airing, probably check their subs out.

I agree with you. When I started watching it, having watched tons of romantic Cdramas, my initial thought was "meh, is just another Cdrama!" next I know I was glued episode by episode not understanding why it was that good ;D

I think I read a comment in the drama page that the actress actually drew the comics, or not?
