I'm so bummed cos I planned to make IOTNBO as my 1-year MDL anniversary drama. I actually enjoyed the patients, OJS's acting, and the brothers' interaction. But I had to drop it. Besides, it's boring and I found the FL is somewhat mean (without proper redemption which is professional help) PS. Professionally, I took care of patients with mental health issues in the past.

The two things I would love to try or have more of them are running and home cooking. With the COVID19 quarantine I have sat too much on the couch watching dramas while munching snacks instead of doing some exercise and cook healthy meals. But again... do you think that the time needed for running (for exercise) and cooking will take times away from watching dramas??? LOL

Maybe, if: - you like romcoms - you like palace politics - you don't mind bitchy females (not the main FL but the rest female cast) - you don't mind seeing half-bald guys (it's in their fashion style in that dynasty) - you don't mind with abrupt ending - you don't mind modern stuff fused into supposedly ancient culture
Having 2 of my fave actors in this drama, it has been in my PTW list since the airing date was set, I'm waiting this to finish and completely subbed as usual. I like that Blitz picking this up, they are good in explaining Japanese culture and language idioms to international viewers

You were right with the dragging love triangles in Kdramas than Jdramas, since the later usually have shorter episodes than other countries. In term of HDY and MG2018, I think also is the presentation of the characters by the actors/actresses can give or not give SLS. In HDY, I got goosebump just watching Jun Matsumoto and Mao Inoue looked at each other in their second meeting (when he told her friend to lick his shoe). Even in hate, I felt chemistry oozed out from them. Plus at that time were they started dating IRL? So they should have strong chemistry IMO. Though acting of Shun Oguri was also great as the melancholic Rui, but I shipped the OTP from the beginning. As for MG2018, lol I had a crush on Dylan Wang who played as Dao Ming Si (ML), so automatically I shipped him with the FL. And throughout the drama, Hua Ze Lei (SML) was just look like a cute fluffy teddy bear to hug, not necessarily a strong opponent of ML.
