Really? I thought they were like 1 year apart based on the airing schedules, but since I watched in 2019, I just watched them back to back. Hopefully Season 3 will be airing not too far 2021. They already finished filming and probably now in the censorship hand.

try different genres, maybe? I used to watch school/college dramas now not anymore unless it has good reviews, or mixes with other genres besides romance.

Yes I skip or fast forward scenes or side stories that are fillers in dramas, not movies though. By reading comments and reviews you get an idea if and when a drama becomes draggy. Usually Kdramas and Jdramas don't drag, but Cdramas, lakorns, Taiwanese dramas tend to drag, because of the sponsors requirements.

The (+) and (-) definitely help with how I can rate the drama, OST I want to hear, following actor/actress. Also if someone ask about a certain drama, I can go back to read .

Probably that's the key: downloading dramas. See, I never download dramas, just watch streaming. So I can be easily tempted to click the next episode. I am just afraid that downloading may come with virus (especially from unknown sites) or the hassle having to sign up etc.
Another problem why I cannot balancing also because I watch only dramas that are finished and completely subbed. So the urge to 'finish' it is too strong, especially if they are intense.

When I first started, I admired Kdramas too. The directing, script, acting, cinematography, OST etc so far generally are still above dramas from the other countries. Even the youth Kdramas (with new/unknown actors/actresses and short episodes) are well done (like from the Playlist). Another plus, they cater to us by providing English subs so fast, unlike other countries that are slower or not subbed until some fan subbers picked them up, need to hunt them down, lol. I only become gradually watching Cdramas because they have so many romcoms that are my preferred genre.
The only thing I know for sure that may deter non Asians watching dramas is that they have to read the sub instead of hearing it straight. That's what I heard in a radio talk show (I'm in the US) when they talked about Parasite that won Academy Awards.

Is Maiden Holmes good? I want to stretch it for a while cos I just finished watching My Unicorn Girl with the same actress as FL: Sebrina Chen. That is also my trick to not get bored: I try not to watch drama/movie with the same actor/actress as main leads back to back, unless I completely have crush on someone, lol
