Try this: watch 1 drama first (TKA or CF) by marathon binge-watching it. Right after that, pick some non-gaming movies or short dramas. That way, even you may be able to move on from a drama, it won't take long until other dramas/movies take your interest away. You may not get motivated to go back to gaming. I do this trick all the time for dramas I couldn't move on for awhile. Besides, marathon/binge watch makes me easier to not get attached/addicted to a particular drama. I hope it helps ;D

ok I checked the drama page just now. Apparently it was translated pretty well in an official Youtube channel Youhug, but as for now only until Ep 8. At least you get the idea of the main characters and their background, the rest is easier ;D

hahaha, I want to bypass the prequel cos I don't understand Thai, and both dramas are not subbed. I watched a few lakorns raw though didn't understand the language but could grasp the main story, cos they are romcom or romance so kinda same old plot. But seems these two lakorns are quite complicated, more like family drama, right? (seeing the family chart, lol)

lol, I only knew it since I challenged myself to watch any 2020 released drama that looks somehow good. Almost out of my radar since there was no romance tag, and I was not familiar with the leading actors. Anyway, you can watch in WeTV (regional, may use VPN change location to Hong Kong), if can't try dramacool or koreandrama.es. I dropped dramas with machine translated also, but somehow I understood the dialogues in this drama. Only gaming terms I did not understand but it didn't bother my understanding of the story line at all. Some mentioned machine translate but I had a feeling it was translated to another language than English then re-translated to English (this does happen). For example like someone mentioned in comments below: Chinese: "ge ge" (English "older brother") was translated into Indonesian as "kakak" (means older brother or older sister, no gender), re-translated back to English became "sister" lol.

After reading the review/comment I decided to watch for the OTP only, especially since there are so many bitchy supporting females here whom I usually skip them anyway. Though her role is deceiving, the lead actress Prang is gorgeous and I haven't seen her before, so I was excited to watch. But till Ep 2 I couldn't stand the ML. Why they have to make him so possessive, she just started to work as his secretary! He already took away her phone etc. Not a healthy boss-employee work relationship here, not alone romantic relationship. Usually I don't mind watching tsundere or aggresive/possessive/obsessive male even revenge or S/K lakorns, but I felt if this is since the beginning the ML's original trait it's kinda weird. Then when later on it becomes draggy, what else will I watch it for then, lol. Dropped it.

You're welcome :D... I think we are the same. I have avoided e-sport/gaming drama since last year with the popular ones at that time but this one caught my interest since the beginning. Nice they did the parallel universe since Ep 1 too

Yeah, you're right about not a sci-fi topic. But they did a great job with the e-gaming prop, like the CGI, term, etc. From the tribute in the end of the drama we can tell this is a sport drama.
