She worked as a waiter in the tea house. One day, while playing pipa for the arrogant actress Li Ying Ying, she was bullied. Luckily, Li Ying Ying's rival, an actress named Du Ruo Lan, saved Qing Qing. Ruo Lan is arranged to marry Shang Guan Mu Yun but she doesn't love him. Qing Qing then worked as a double for Ruo Lan, performing dangerous stunts. In an incident, Qing Qing fell off the cliff and her face was badly injured.
