It is one of the sweetest episodes! If only this was our favourite couple's happy ever after ending. The first thing LSS does upon waking up from her coma is to rush off to save her man. Breaks the torture formation, shields TTJ and administers first aid, immortal style via magical energy into the chest. Defends him from those bumbling idiots. If this is not true love, then I do not know what is. 🥹 You go gal!

I also interpret it as the ADG put that curse on TTJ to have a bad life so that he can grow the negative energy for the devil bone. Bad things need bad energy. LSS broke that on going do bad things cycle by being kind to TTJ. Amazing how a even little bit of love can grow a plant! 🌹🌻

24. Dream Drama Pairing - I would like to see Xixi paired with Reba. But not too sure about their on screen chemistry though. Based on that short walk to receive their awards on stage. Reba was not exactly very warm to Xixi despite Xixi being a total gentleman. But we shall see if they should get paired on screen for a drama. I think they would make a very beautiful Xianxia CP. Our eyes will hurt just watching them together on screen. LOL 😍😍

I interpreted it as TTJ couldn't care less due to the fact that he had no love threads yet at that point, thus he had minimum emotions. He also did not understand what was love about as he never received any. To me, his maids took care of him out of duty to their late mistress, not love. Even Xiao Lin honourable as he was, took care of TTJ out of duty to King and country.
TTJ grew up being ill-treated. If he wasn't starving, then he was getting beat up or being told he is not lovable. He was always freezing during winter as he was not given appropriate attire. People looked down on him and as in many palace stories, palace residents (royals and servants) saw that he was not favoured and took the opportunity to bully him as well. He had no way to retaliate being the unfavoured one. This horrible way of living was normal for him. He never knew how it was to be in a loving relationship, as such he did not know what he was missing. He just gritted his teeth and got on with life. I applaud him for not thinking of killing himself. Sighs...those bullying and beating scenes break my heart, poor baby. 😢
And then YXW / LSS appeared in his life. A shining light in his dark life. That was the game changer. She showed him an alternate path via her love and patience. She ensured he was well fed, kept warm, protected, explained things to him and grew his love threads. And from what we can see, TTJ the human was never evil of heart to start with. He had a big heart and in the end sacrificed himself for a world that treated him so badly, all for the greater good. A true hero indeed. And that is what makes the ending so heartbreaking. 😭😭
Dang, we can really write an entire textbook just on TTJ!! Such a complex character! Loving the discussions. 🙂
So far don't feel very drawn into the show yet. But it is great to see Xiao Zhan in Xianxia costume again. I have not watched a drama with him in Xianxia costume since Untamed. He is still as handsome as ever. 🥰

I guess it is not easy to tell a story in detail in 40 episodes and some stories had to be sacrificed for time to build the main characters. We also wished there was more time to tell the story of Pian Ran and Ye Qing Yu.

Heads up. You will find yourself wanting to rewatch the drama over and over again. Each time you rewatch you will notice small nuances you did not notice before because you were crying so hard the first time round. But be warned, despite knowing the story already, you will likely find yourself crying again during the rewatch. But maybe not as hard as the first time? 😅
It's a love hate thingy, but I have to say blood spits are an absolute must in Xianxia. 😂😝🩸
