exactly, through that entire scene i was screaming "say something, you are a grown ass woman with a career of your own and he is being completely abusive" but she just stood there crying. Even Tawan as a teen was fighting back. Honestly its ridiculous how they are treating a grown up as a child, locking her up and all those things.
And yeah the script is all over the place with zero sense, one moment they reunite the next out of nowehere Ayla is in an intense training which lasted what 1 or 2 days, next they are at the park. It seems that the writers just wanted to use all cliches possible with no regard to making it make sense.

from the preview of only you next episode, Ayla's dad is gonna lock her up in her room and take away her phone and ipad. So yeah he is already on the list of crappy fathers as well. Also the way he manhandled her in the final moments of last episode screams shitty parenting.

Ai starts the episode already down from the picture she saw, then comes her father and drained her even more. She spent the entire episode under pressure, with her feelings for Mae all over the place because of what she saw. That moment in the rooftop where she let go of Mae's hand when Rachen is mentioned.... In the end she deletes the picture because it seems she made a choice.
Now, Mae was a bit more cheerful until her father rained on her parade with that huge lie.
Their first time was really sad cause Mae went there out of fear of not ever living that moment given what her father told her, and Ai is afraid of the betrayal while feeling so much.
In conclusion they are fucked.

oh i got news for you: being able to deliver a kiss that translates their love, longing and desire for each other IS PART of acting. Their 2 kisses were emotionless and stale. I hope for the next episodes the kisses are better acted.
My safe zone pilot showed a way better kiss than only you, and it was absolutely within ch3's uptightness

"I don't know what the show is trying to say or tell me" right?!! i still dont know exactly what the plot is, i mean i know they are reuniting and all that but what else there is? is there a villain who threats Ayla we havent been introduced to? what is the big threat to their relationship? in TSOU the plot was clear, what and who they had to face to be together, the healing process all that was set since the begining

If this script was all they could come up with, just go back to making novel adaptations. 3 episodes in and we see the same thing in each of them, unnecessary slow motion? check. a random scene just for product placement? check. the same ost over and over? check. Ayla is an idol but have we heard orm singing? i dont know because its always youre the moon to my heart playin.

honestly the production here is nailing it so far, the soundtrack? really good., it's so nice not hear the same music queuing everytime the leads get closer. Ai's assistant is a blast im really enjoyin the dinamic between those two, Yolada is so funny being Ai's sidekick. Like for real 2 episodes in and it's so good

the first 8 minutes i had to watch with on eye closed because it was cringey especially when that khaotu friend arrived, it was so childish. Everyone saying Tawan was jealous of Yam in that reharsal scene but for me it was obvious she was suspicious of her contradictions and fake praising Ayla. Can they please tone it down with the slow motion?

Its was a really good and exciting 1st episode, everything looked really good. I dont understand the need to change when they first met, i mean i see no point in them meeting each other in high school and Ai being into Mae all this time. Also their first kiss, it didnt happen in that moment and like that at all.
Anyways im excited for the upcoming episodes and i hope they dont manage to screw up a novel that was actually really good.

i wish it was that, but if you go back and watch again you'll see its just ch3 not caring about continuity. For example the gas station scene, Ayla gets in the car with her grayish and then inside the car her hair is blond, between entering and sittin she dyed her hair?

I think CH3 being as big as it is should be more attentive to detail, i mean how many times did Ayla's hair color changed during this episode? there was a scene that was absurd where they split the screen with two images of Ayla and in each frame her hair color was different. Also there is no subtlety with the product placement.
Tawan and Ayla first time meeting each other after years was so anticlimatic, i was really expecting it to be as good as the tsou encounter.

What happened in the editing room for this 1st ep??? Also the make up department was way off with Lingling, since the very first scene she couldnt pass as a high school student at all, the whole time she looked more like a teacher.

Mirae talked on the second episode, if im not mistaken, that she has to pay her family back because when she was constantly sick they spent a good chunk of money on her medical things, something along those lines. So i guess this is one the burdens she carries with her but we wont know more if they just keep showing Mijis pov

out of 4 episodes 3 of them were from Miji pov and her backstory, i want to understand Mirae as well

right and the daughter is not far behind, her husband asks for divorce beats the shit out of her and she still doesnt divorce him, No self respect at all, she was selfish and was dooming her kids to grow up in a terrible home with a terrible father
